Natural Expressions Photography

We commissioned Patrick to photograph our wedding in late October 2025, and from our first contact to receiving our beautiful photographs, the entire experience truly enhanced our day. Patrick is warm, personable, and genuinely invested in understanding what mattered most to us. He met with us a couple of weeks beforehand to discuss our vision in detail, and we stayed in regular contact leading up to the wedding so he could get a clear sense of how we worked and what we hoped for. On the day itself, Patrick allowed everything to unfold naturally. He was calm, professional, and unobtrusive - so much so that we often didn’t realise he was there - yet the photographs showed he was everywhere! He captured every moment we could have hoped for. We wanted our formal photos to feel fun and spontaneous, and Patrick achieved this brilliantly while keeping proceedings under control! We were thrilled with the joy and energy he captured. The number of high-quality photos we received was a such a surprise - it was genuinely difficult to choose which ones to share! Patrick brought enthusiasm, creativity, and thoughtful ideas that added a sparkle to our day. We would highly recommend both his style and his professionalism. We can't say enough good things about Patrick! From the moment we first met him, we knew we had made the right choice. As people who aren't comfortable in front of a camera and don't take many selfies, we were a little nervous, but Patrick was so calm and professional that he immediately put us at ease. We just clicked with him, and it made the entire process so much fun. Leading up to the day, his communication was perfect. We really appreciated that he took the time to meet with us a couple of times at our venue and for a coffee to get everything just right. On our wedding day, Patrick captured everything beautifully. He was able to get some great staged family shots for us, as well as a ton of natural, candid photos of our guests enjoying themselves. We especially loved our time away with him, taking couple shots around the cathedral, castle, and steep hill. Those moments were so special, and the photos he took are absolutely stunning. We highly recommend Patrick to any couple looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly talented but also a pleasure to be around.

We used Patrick for our wedding in 2016, and most recently for the Christmas offer. I think that he has a fantastic way about him - when he needs to be invisible he is, and when he can't be invisible he is very good at working with you, pointing you in the right direction and being incredibly patient when you forget to do what he says! At our wedding we can hardly remember him being there, and the resulting pictures and album were fantastic. He has a real eye for what is need and doesn't force photographs (but he'll do whatever you want in terms of staged pictures). He clearly loves his job and when he spots an opportunity he'll work with it to try and bring out the best possible photographs for you and for him. I'm sure we'll use him again in the future as our daughter grows up and I would happily recommend him.

Patrick was the perfect photographer for me. I am very nervous in front of a camera but needed headshots for my art business. He immediately made me feel at ease and made what I thought would be an ordeal into a "why didn’t I do this sooner" moment.
