The Wilmslow Studio

What a great find! I was looking for a well-located studio just south of Manchester, and The Wilmslow Studio was exactly what I needed. From the moment I arrived, the team were incredibly welcoming and even helped me unload my kit. The studio itself was spotless, well-equipped and had plenty of space for the full-length portraits I was there to capture. As I was photographing a high-profile athlete, privacy was really important. The studio's location, set back from the main road with ample private parking, meant we could work without interruptions or feeling overlooked. A huge thank you to the team for making the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and look forward to returning in the future.

We blocked hired the studio for a couple of months during our peak period within our company. David was super accommodating, allow us to take over the space whilst our internal studio was going through a refit. We were able to store a high volume of samples, order in colourama, and book in our models with ease. The space suited our needs and had everything you would expect. I wouldn't hesitate using the studio again in the future!

We hired Wilmslow studio for a brand shoot and we couldn’t have asked for a better service. David was really helpful and accommodating, he kindly took delivery of our backdrop and stored it in the studio for us. Nothing was too much trouble! The studio itself is tucked away in a really discreet and private setting, and is equipped with everything you need. The space is fantastic, with lots of room for model and product prep. I live in Cheshire and this studio was more convenient for me and my models than going to Manchester, Before booking I was able to look around the studio at a time convenient for me and was advised re what equipment was available to use. All e-mails regarding the booking were responded to promptly. On the afternoon of the shoot Dave had opened up before the start time and he was around in another part of the building during the afternoon. He said to speak with him if I needed any advice or assistance during the shoot,, which although not needed was reassuring, as I am not a professional photographer. I took flash equipment for the shoot but there are some good LED lights in the studio, one on a useful boom arm for overhead lighting. There are also reflectors of various sizes, light stands, a good quality tripod, stools with adjustable height and different backgrounds etc. Dave helpfully put up the grey background I wanted to use before the start of the shoot. The studio includes a small kitchen area with complimentary tea and coffee and an area for models, including a private changing area. Overall, a positive experience and I would be happy to use this studio again.

We recently worked with David Brown and his team for a video shoot. The service was excellent, the studio was perfect for our filming and the creative approach to the brief was spot on. I highly recommend David Brown and his team.
