James was our photographer for our wedding in Kent, and an engagement shoot. We had to reschedule twice, and James was really flexible for us. The engagement shoot was a fantastic experience, and a good chance to get to know him, so I'd really recommend that. On the wedding day, James was just superb. He interacted with us and the guests when we wanted him to, and blended into the background the rest of the time. A few weeks later we got the photos back from him, and were utterly thrilled - they are stunning! James is great at making you feel relaxed, which shows in his photos. He took some fantastic candid shots of us and our guests, which is exactly what we wanted.

Booking James for our winter wedding in December 2014 was a no brainer. I'm a big fan of his style of photography and love the way he creates imagery. After meeting with James to discuss our plans, it was evident James was not only a top photographer, but a genuine bloke who we both felt comfortable with. During the day James and his assistant worked together to capture our day perfectly, unobtrusive coverage spliced with some epic bride and groom shots. We couldn't have been happier when when we viewed the photographs for the first time. Having used James in the past for family photographs I had no hesitation in deciding I would like James to take our wedding photos on our big day. My husband to be had never met James before so there was a bit of a leap of faith on his part in agreeing with my decision but from the first time we met James to discuss our plans, John was happy, and on the day James and his team really pulled out all the stops make sure we had the best photographs possible. James wasn’t just ‘at’ our wedding, he was a big part of it. His sense of humour and friendly approach put everyone at ease and we had such a lot of fun throughout the whole day. We feel that this really does show in the beautiful album we now have and we find ourselves actually comparing our photos with those of other people. We are definitely in danger of becoming wedding photo snobs! We now have the album and memories from the day that we only dreamed of and would have no hesitation in recommending James to anyone.
