Eleanor the Celebrant

We had the pleasure of having Eleanor as our celebrant for our wedding in June. There truly aren’t enough words to describe how amazing she is, and how she made us feel on the best day of our lives. Eleanor really took the time to get to know us a couple but also as individuals, the way she described our relationship and the beautiful words she gave us in our ceremony could not have been more perfect, or more us! We couldn’t imagine having had anyone else play such an important and special role on our wedding day and we really cannot thank her enough! All of our guests were stunned by how amazing our ceremony was, and so many people have said to us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and most of that was due to our wonderful ceremony. Truly Eleanor thank you so much for being such a positive and joyful part of what was such an incredible day, you are pure magic. We will never forget how amazing you were!

We feel so lucky to have had Eleanor as our wedding celebrant. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to get to know us as a couple through video calls and in-person meet ups, really taking the time to understand our story. She guided us with so many creative and thoughtful ideas to involve our friends and family, making the ceremony deeply personal and meaningful. Eleanor also supported us in writing our individual vows and speeches, giving us the confidence to make them truly our own. On the day, she had printed them beautifully for us, which was such a special touch and something we’ll treasure as a keepsake forever. The ceremony itself was perfect - romantic, unique and a true reflection of us as a couple. So many of our guests told us it was the most special and personal wedding they had ever been to, and we couldn’t agree more. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Eleanor has such a warm and calming presence, and we will always be grateful for the beautiful memories she created for us. We honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Eleanor was our celebrant for our wedding in August and she prepared and conducted the most beautiful ceremony, which felt perfectly us! From our first interaction with Eleanor we found her to be helpful, warm and bubbly, she brought a wonderful energy to our whole wedding planning process, was such a friendly face throughout and allowed us to bounce so many ideas with her. Eleanor dedicated so much of her time to meeting us on numerous occasions to discuss all things ceremony and we were really grateful for this time to get to know her better. On the day it felt like a friend leading our ceremony rather than a service being provided which was really lovely. We were delighted with our ceremony, Eleanor took our questionnaire responses and produced the most personal and beautiful script, and put some wonderful surprises in there which we had chatted about in passing which really showed the care and thought she had put into getting to know us and our relationship. We really felt like the fun of our wedding started with our ceremony and we had so much wonderful feedback from our friends and family on the ceremony and what a fantastic job Eleanor had done, lots of people told us it was the best wedding ceremony they had been to! Eleanor helped us include lots of people in our ceremony, came with so many brilliant ideas and was so reassuring throughout. We also found Eleanor’s little touches and eye for detail and design to be really impressive - we had a wonderful time being present and answering the questionnaires with the date night box she sent to us and we were amazed on the day with the presentation of our vow books and readings. Even after the day, receiving our script beautifully packaged through the post. Everything Eleanor delivers is high quality, beautifully done and really worth every penny and more. She went above and beyond throughout, offering so much of her time, expertise and energy to make our wedding special and we really felt she cared every step of the way. Eleanor was the only celebrant we met with and we knew straight away we could trust her with our special day, and after the day we’ve spent so much time just relishing in how beautiful it was, and what a huge part of that is owing to Eleanor and the wonderful space and ceremony she brought to our day. If you are looking for a celebrant, look no further! We really can’t imagine a more talented, warm and attentive celebrant to entrust your ceremony to.

Eleanor was our celebrant for our wedding in May 2025, and we cannot recommend her enough. Not only is she fantastic at her job, she is just such a wonderfully warm and welcoming person, and working with Eleanor really feels like working with a friend rather than a supplier! From our first contact with her, she fully embraced our story and ideas, and was always so enthusiastic and passionate about our ceremony and wedding day, which made the journey so exciting. Through getting to know us, both by chatting online, meeting her in person, and through sending us questionnaires to complete, she was able to write and create a ceremony that was so truly unique and personal to us, and told our story in such a beautiful and warm way (as well as adding lots of humour!). She had loads of ideas of different things we could do and include in the ceremony, and was so open to our feedback and requests. She was also a constant source of support during the planning process, and extremely willing to help with all aspect of our ceremony, from writing our vows to dress rehearsals the day before. We had so many compliments and positive feedback from guests about how wonderful the ceremony was, and how they had not seen a wedding like that before. We owe Eleanor a huge thank you for making our day so special and personal to us, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a truly personal and celebratory wedding ceremony.

From the moment we received the glowing recommendation, we knew Eleanor was the celebrant for us. We eloped with our 3 kids and had very little idea of how we wanted our wedding to be, other than for the kids to feel included and for things to be laid back and relaxed. From the first zoom call Eleanor made us feel comfortable and heard. She was incredibly patient with our baby who didn't want to settle and two boys who wanted to chat too! She came back to us with some beautiful ideas for the ceremony that made room for us as a couple to celebrate how far we have come so far, but also keeping things fun and engaging for the kids. We absolutely loved the date night box that accompanied the questionnaires we got to fill in, these left no stone unturned and we felt like it meant a lot for Eleanor to get to know us well enough to be apart of our wedding. Along the way Eleanor went above and beyond and helped us with all sorts of recommendations, from unique ideas for the ceremony, a photographer and restaurant to go to on the big day, to things to do with the kids during our stay at york. Nothing felt too much. On the day we were blown away by the ceremony she had prepared. We felt relaxed, had time to take in all the small details included, and enjoyed listening to our story told back to us with such beautiful words. We appreciated the time and effort that went into planning the smaller rituals we asked to be included in our big day. The patience that was held for our kids was beyond what we could have expected. The kids being comfortable enough to be completely themselves with Eleanor, who they had only met properly the night before, shows just how at ease we all felt in her presence. We are forever grateful to Eleanor for making our day so special for the 5 of us. And would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get married in the future. We will never be able to say thank you enough for everything you have done for us. You'll always have a special place in our hearts.
