The Secret Garden

We cannot thank the staff enough for the most amazing and wonderful day from start to finish our wedding was perfect - an intimate family wedding that from our first consultation to the special day couldn’t have been better. The staff are wonderful the venue is stunning - all of us absolutely loved this place - I cannot explain how perfect this place is just go and see it and speak to the wonderful wedding planners let them make you dream day as perfect as ours was!

We got married here in February. The venue is beautiful and perfect for what we wanted. Before the wedding, the team were great, easy to get hold of and always answered any questions. They offer good value with their packages and we had a fantastic wedding day. Only reason I'm not giving a five is because on the day, I didn't see anyone from the venue until right before the ceremony to tell us what to do/where to go etc, some of the wait and bar stuff were very slow, and we had mixed feedback on the food. I never heard from them after, not even an automated email. This didn't impact our day though, and I'm still very happy with where we chose for our big day.

If you're on the fence about booking this venue - take this as your sign to book! We viewed several venues before coming to the Secret Garden and it was immediately clear we had found our dream wedding venue as soon as we sat down with Alisha. Not only is the venue itself beautiful, with gorgeous gardens and great locations to say "I Do" (we got married under the Gazebo), the staff are fantastic and the food is to die for! It's clear that the people working there love their job, from the wedding coordinators (who are always cool, calm and collected - which is great for calming wedding day nerves), to the wait staff, to the most incredible chef - Mas, who looked after us all day, making sure my Husband and I had enough canapes and always had a glass of something! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was. We are so grateful to the whole team at the Secret Garden for making our wedding the most wonderful day of our lives 🧡

As soon as we viewed The Secret Garden, we knew it was the wedding venue for us. It’s stunning, with fantastic amenities and features, and the backdrop for a wedding is gorgeous. Amy and Alisha were so helpful every step of the way and were always on hand to answer questions, talk us through next steps and offer advice and guidance. In particular, Alisha was the most incredible wedding coordinator, doing everything from queuing up the music for our ceremony and wedding breakfast, to making sure my train looked perfect before walking down the aisle. The package offered was the definition of ‘all inclusive’. Never did I think a wedding venue would include as much as The Secret Garden did, and all for such a good price. It took away a lot of the stress of wedding planning as the majority of things were already covered! The addition of The Potting Shed to get ready on the morning of the wedding was another fantastic perk for a venue with no onsite accommodation. It was spacious, stocked with everything we could ever need and was the perfect place to get ready before the ceremony. I also need to give a shout out to the catering staff and food suppliers. Our guests were BLOWN AWAY by the quality and quantity of the food - so many people have told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we absolutely agree! Additionally, the drinks options were great (no one was ever thirsty!) and every staff member went above and beyond for us and our guests. Our wedding day was everything and more that we could have ever wanted, and that was largely in part to everything the venue did for us. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special - we would recommend The Secret Garden to anyone!

If you're considering The Secret Garden as a wedding venue, don't hesitate for a second!! We viewed the venue on a chilly but sunny day in February and despite very few flowers being in bloom and the trees being bare, the beauty of the place was breathtaking. From the moment we booked up until the wedding day last month, we felt so well looked after by Amy, Alisha and the team. The information pack is so thorough and included all the information that we needed to send out with our invites, the pricing is really clear with no hidden costs, and the sample menus gave us a really good idea of what to expect. The choice of food and drinks were amazing and we've had so many compliments from our guests about the meal. Communication with the team was really easy and every question we had was answered quickly. I didn't have any worries leading up to the day because the team gave us total confidence that everything was in hand. On the day itself, we were guided through each stage when needed but left to enjoy our time together and with our guests at all other times. The team dealt with every detail from moving our flowers from the ceremony to the table centres, ensuring the music was set up where we'd asked for it, welcoming the band when they arrived and preparing the coach house for the cake cutting and first dance, (and so, so much more)! We didn't have to think of a thing! We are so grateful to the whole team at The Secret Garden and especially Amy who looked after us on the day. We wish we could do it all over again!
