I booked Grand Occasions in Birmingham for my wedding, and I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From the very first visit, the team were welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They took the time to understand what we wanted and were incredibly supportive throughout the planning process. On the day itself, the hall looked absolutely stunning. The décor, lighting, and overall setup exceeded my expectations and created such a beautiful atmosphere. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff were attentive, organised, and calm, which made a huge difference and allowed us to fully enjoy our day without any stress. So many of our guests commented on how elegant and spacious the venue was. Grand Occasions truly helped make our wedding unforgettable, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a banqueting suite in Birmingham for a special occasion.

Had my Mehendhi here yesterday and I couldn't be happier! Waseem and his team were fab. Food was delicious, decor and stage was exactly what I wanted and everything was as planned. Super happy with everything! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing venue, from the moment you walk in, you can see the attention to detail and high standards. The management team especially who were outstanding—professional, friendly, and always making sure everything runs perfectly. It’s the perfect place for a wedding or special event. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

On the 3rd of August 2025 we had the hall booked for my son’s weddings and I must say it has been an honour. The scenery was beautiful. To the owner, Shak, and the staff of this establishment, you have been amazing and incredibly supportive of our needs, the food was ASTOUNDING, and at the last minute they were very adamant with providing cars for hire when I got into some issues with places elsewhere. The amazing owner, Shak, detailed the venues additions such as, food stalls, 360 vid shoot, which was incredibly generous and I’m appreciative for this as it lifted some of the burdens of my shoulders.

The hall looked absolutely stunning, especially with all the décor and lighting — it really brought the whole event to life. The team were so accommodating and understood the flow of an Asian wedding, which made a huge difference. Everything ran smoothly, from the entrance to the food service, and our guests were really impressed. The food was delicious and served efficiently, even with a big guest list. Overall, they made our special day feel stress-free and memorable. We’re so glad we chose them!

This venue is beautiful. The decorations, the setting and layout is extremely well put together. Yes, I took too many selfies and photos. All the staff are friendly, professional and polite. I cannot believe the food portions are so generous and without compromising in the quality. All the dishes are extra tasty and flavoursome. I ate far too much for my little stature!! There is a tiny bit of downside because of lack parking outside the venue, luckily there’s plenty of parking available on the side streets and a car park at the nearby restaurant. Overall I would highly recommend this venue for a fabulous and memorable celebration. It can cater for any occasion. Called Wasim at Grand Occasion he is extremely helpful. :):)
