Highbury Hall

I've been here three times, each time for something completely different. A school celebration, a paranormal ghost hunt and the most recent time a alternate dark market. I've enjoyed each visit not just because if the event, but because the building created an atmosphere. It is a beautiful structure with amazing carvings and stained glass that do deserve to be seen. I hope they continue to open it to the public.

We’re incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful venue right on our doorstep. Highbury Hall is a place I genuinely love. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings here, and the venue kindly allowed us to photograph our sweet cart too. The staff are consistently warm, helpful, and accommodating. Working with Highbury Hall has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Beautiful grounds. A great place for a walk or a picnic. Nice duck pond. We went when it had snowed and water was frozen over. Free and Easy parking on side road.

Went to the grounds for a dog show at the old bowling green but it was rained off, so we went inside the hall to a craft fair. The main part of the house retains original features, wallpaper, furniture and small exhibition about the family in the library. Very beautiful decor. The whole building has a very interesting history. Easy to imagine life there. Nice bar for hot and cold drinks. Run by council - nice to use it but was sad to see original furniture used as milk and sugar station without proper covering and protection. Everyone very friendly and we'll return to view everything properly on a 'better weather' day. Fabulous that its been restored and persevered for the public and our heritage. :))

This gem of a building is open for guided tours on the first Monday of every month The guide made the tour both enjoyable and informative. I learnt so much about the original owner, Joseph Chamberlain.
