We had a wake there yesterday great room and bar down the road from Lodge Hill Cemetery. Room was perfect and the buffet food was perfect and a great selection for the price. Staff were also lovely. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the room 11 after the event at NEC. Shower and staff have been good and value for price was great. Only things to improve would be better matrace ( you can feel the springs due to wear and tear) and better curtains to block sunlight. The room was completely quiet throughout the night. McDonald's is 5 minutes away by car if you need breakfast.

Unfortunately I was attending a Wake but the Avenue Club was an ideal venue. It was centrally located with easy access to main routes. The club itself was nice - very clean and well decorated. Access was good for wheelchairs and the room where the venue was easy to move around. The food served was plentiful and lovely. All in all a lovely place.

I was quite worried after reading all the reviews on here but I enjoyed my stay and found it to be good value for money. My room was tidy and found the staff to be friendly and efficient. It’s not far from a good bingo hall too which helps!

Travelled to Birmingham to see my grandad in hospital. Booked 3 nights here. Unfortunately didn't stay as windows would close or lock. Mould in the corner of the walls. Fresh and stain smell of cigarettes. I did advise I have cancer and need a very clean and safe environment. I explained this to and asked for a refund as the room isnt fit for purpose. Manament wasnt the best and said no to a refund, even though I've had to pay for another hotel for 3 nights. I even booked a standard double and it was 2 poorly made single beds. Your definitely not getting what you paid for. The mattress alone would have killed me. Quality is shocking. Very disappointing, No empathy, or good will. But everyone will have there day. Its quite embarrassing telling someone about the awful smell, cleanliness and quality of the establishment but management seemed very unbothed. The lack of concern was quite worrying. I would recommend that you dont book here. I hope they are able to make the changes they need.
