Elsham Hall Gardens & Country Park

Magical Christmas Lights in the grounds. Despite the frankly awful weather, it still managed to be an amazing walk around the grounds. Plenty of brave staff on duty to point you in the right direction and lovely atmosphere in the courtyard with the stalls and firepits. Hopefully they do it again next year. Recommended.

We visited Elsham Hall and found the gardens to be very nice and well kept, making for a pleasant walk around the grounds. It was also a nice bonus to see some animals on site, which added to the experience and gave it a bit more variety for a family day out. However, the play park area felt like it could do with some improvement, particularly for families with babies and younger children. It would be great to see baby swings or more age-appropriate equipment added. The sand pit area also seemed a bit worn, with some of the equipment broken and in need of investment or replacement. Overall, while it is a nice place to visit, I do think £8 per person feels slightly expensive.

Lovely place to visit was served by Lilly at the gift shop throughout the day who was lovely and helpful for any queries we had and very welcoming! Also served by caragh at the bunny hop coffee truck who also was lovely. 😁 We love to come every year and can see they are doing a lot of work to renovate areas.

This is a great place to spend a couple of hours, or a lot longer if you have young children. Looked a bit like the gardeners were on holiday but with the current heatwave it must be difficult to keep on top. Once the cafe is refurbished along with the other areas it'll be five stars.

Randomly popped in on our way back from the beach. So very glad we did. What an absolutely beautiful location. Really good entrance prices (we got a free return visit with the promotion they are doing). Lovely little gift shop. We took the kids on a trek to find all the different coloured gnomes scattered around the grounds. While walking around there is plenty to see. Wildlife everywhere. I have never seen so many carp in one pond in my life 😍 There is a lovely little play park for kids of most ages. Plenty of places to stop and sit for a break, loads of places to have a picnic. Overall a brilliant, relaxing place to be We really really enjoyed our few hours here. We will definitely be back again. And a special mention to the shop staff. They answered all of my questions about the different wildlife. They gave us all the information we could ask for. Very knowledgeable about the whole place. They didn't rush anyone and offered as much time as was needed. They even managed to cheer my grumpy 13 year old up which for me was the absolute highlight. Keep up the great work and we will see you again 😍
