Suffolk Barn

We got married at the Suffolk Barn in June and the venue was absolutely perfect. It was stunning inside and set in gorgeous grounds, and accomodating to our every requirement including a DJ and band performing inside and outside, outside evening BBQ and driving our classic car onto the lawn. Everyone commented on how seamlessly the day was ran, which was testament to Georgie's support in planning - both her creative solutions and responsive approach. On the day, Rupert coordinated behind the scenes and was flexible and easygoing. Organising a DIY wedding is not for the faint of heart, or for a small budget, but Georgie and team helped make both the lead in and the day itself a massive and joyful success. Thank you to the Suffolk Barn!

Attended a wedding here this weekend. The venue is beautiful and the scenery has spectacular views. Catering Staff were excellent and a big shout out to Sarah who's attention to detail was fantastic. It's huge halls made great tables and dance floor space. Only hitch was there were X2 power cuts but this was due to equipment not the venue. Toilets were well maintained and clean if not rather small for the size of the venue. Beamed roof and had a real rustic feel to it.

We can hardly believe its been a week since our wedding at Suffolk Barn. What an incredible venue, we went to see many venues across Suffolk and Ipswich but the feeling we left with following our first visit and conversation with Georgie meant we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. Georgie was brilliant from the very start, all of our ideas were met with enthusiasm and helpful suggestions, going out of her way to help us. On the day Georgie's help was invaluable, from operating our entrance music to helping move tables and chairs. Suffolk Barn was the perfect location for us and did not disappoint on the day, the grounds were beautifully landscaped and surrounding views stunning. Thank you very much, Georgie and Rupert.

We had our Wedding at Suffolk Barn this April and couldn't have imagined a better venue!! From the first viewing Georgie was so informative and helped along the way with recommendations and suggestions. We were able to go back a few times to envision our decor and talk through the logistics of the day. We had Rupert on the day coordinating with suppliers and everything ran smoothly. Ahead of the day they were happy to liaise directly with some of our suppliers who hadn't been to the venue before e.g. band (highly recommend louder than the DJ if youre after something a bit more alternative) to make sure everyone was happy. Being able to set up the Friday and go back to clear up Sunday made the whole weekend feel so much easier and part of the fun. Also being able to choose all the suppliers we wanted truly made the day our own. The barn itself and the grounds are beautiful. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather which meant we could have our drinks reception and photos outside. As the barn is so beautiful already for decor we were able to bring a few key pieces in but the barn and the lighting really didnt need much. We had a guest count of approx 40 day guests and just under 60 evening. We were able to make use of the whole barn and by using sections for each part of the day it never felt too big or empty for our guest count. If you are looking for somewhere with its own charm and character that you make your own, with some wonderful people to help make your day amazing, we cant recommend them enough!!
