We cannot recommend this venue enough! The barn shone in all its glory on our wedding day and exceeded every expectation! The venue is spacious, beautiful, fun, and so versatile. We were able to add our own personal touches, and every area of the venue was used and enjoyed by our guests. Looking back, we genuinely could not imagine celebrating our wedding anywhere else. Accessibility was fine. We had several guests who required step-free access, and the ramps onsite made everything easy and stress-free. Everyone was able to enjoy the day comfortably. A huge thank you to Liz for being absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Her support, kindness, and attention to detail helped make our day everything we dreamed it would be. Our wedding day was truly magical, and we wish we could relive it over and over again. Thank you for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!! Mr and Mrs Kneller-Jones.
This venue is out of the way with primitive facilities. Very unfriendly to anyone with mobility issues. You hire the barn and then organize everything yourself. I attended a wedding and we were very fortunate to have dry weather (we even had sunshine). The wedding service was held in the orchard opposite the barn. Our hosts provided a pop up pub in the grounds. A pizza truck for the wedding breakfast and an ice cream van for afters. We had an enjoyable time meeting up with friends and family, however, had it been raining, it could have been a disaster.
We at Home Gurr’own, caterers, always enjoy working at this stunning venue. The barn is beautifully maintained, full of character, and set in a truly picturesque location. The team is friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to collaborate with, making every event run smoothly. A fantastic venue for both couples and suppliers alike!
Stunning wedding venue surrounded by beautiful nature. Can host a large number of people and still feel intimate. I photographed a wedding there recently and would highly recommend it. The staff was very helpful and the food delicious!
The great barn is a stunning venue that I have visited many times. The surrounding fields and orchards make for beautiful photos. The barn itself is unique in build and the interior is stunning and can be decorated to make the perfect Pinterest wedding. Parking is great and it’s not too far from local villages
