Great venue for my daughters 21st birthday party. Sara and Karl were amazing and helpful especially when I had to go a few times to build a balloon arch. Always greeted with a smile 😃 thanks guys . And the lovely bar staff that served at the party well done 👏 Xx

Do not eat here if you have allergens. Was told my food would be gluten free. It evidently wasn't.

Not a bad venue with pool tables in rear room. Not quaint or romantic. Just a large room with a bar. Defo pop in

Upon arriving at the venue after my wedding, I had high hopes for the function room, which seemed adequate for our special occasion. However, the overall organization left much to be desired. The food served was disappointingly dry and lacked flavor, which was particularly disheartening given the significance of the event. To make matters worse, there was only one staff member assigned to manage the entire bar, serve meals, and handle cleaning duties for our group of 22 guests. This individual appeared overwhelmed and frequently apologized for the delays, which only added to the stress of the situation. The meals, originally scheduled to be served at 3:30 PM, were delayed by nearly an hour, further compounding our frustration. Communication with the management was equally troubling. I had sent an email a month in advance regarding the addition of two extra meals, indicating that I would pay for them on the day of the event. Unfortunately, the manager dismissed my request, claiming he had not seen the email and later attributing the oversight to it landing in his junk folder. His dismissive attitude was unprofessional and left me feeling disrespected. It was clear that the staff member working that day was doing their best under challenging circumstances, and they deserved far better support from management. Additionally, I was dismayed to learn that the DJ, for whom I had paid to start at 5 PM, would not arrive until 7 PM. This oversight significantly impacted our evening, as the music was a crucial element of our celebration. To top it all off, I discovered that the venue's food hygiene rating was a mere two stars, which was not displayed anywhere and certainly explained the subpar quality of the meals. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet the expectations set for such an important occasion.
