The Beaton Hall is a trust hall, run by a committee of volunteers. The hall has a public entertainments licence and can be used for concerts and fundraising events or smaller theatre productions. There is a smaller meeting room on the ground floor that is also available for hire. The hall is also home to Methlick Heritage Society, on the first floor. They display and archive many aspects of local history. The hall is regularly used as the changing facilities and tea room for the MCC (Methlick Cricket Club) and doubles up as the Pavilion for Lairds Cricket Ground.⁹
