Blantyre Miners Welfare and Community Resource Centre

If looking for a quick lunch this is not the place. Was seated quickly and waited over 15 minutes before even being spoken to for starters. Then waited another 20 minutes for 2 starters of potato wedges which hardly had a heat in them and had small portions maybe 6 on the plate? The cutlery was damp not sure what's going on with that. The mains. Steak pie. Good size steak would have been better with a bit more heat. Chips are chips. The staff seemed to favour people that looked like there friends over people that was seated before them as other got food before us regardless of us being seated before them. If looking to wait over an hour for starters and mains can give it a try but not that a great a service.

Nice venue, didnt know where the front door was when we parked in the car park. Then with the psychic function, lots of folk were loud and rude talking. We ended up leaving before the end.

Food is always good there and excellent prices too. A great place for the locals and seniors.

I went to a wedding here years ago the place was newly done up very nice

Good menu great choice and great prices
