A little bit of history here located in this historic park remembering us of our once proud industrial heritage made by the Lion foundry one of many foundries located in the town. A wonderful example of wrought ironwork at it's best of this once proud industrial town

The grandeur of a bygone Edwardian age , the "Perry Bandstand" giving it it's official title in Peel Park Kirkintilloch. Stamped manufacturer is the local Lion Foundary now long gone.
