We honestly cannot put into words how absolutely incredible our wedding at Gate Street Barn was. When we first visited the venue in 2024, we instantly fell in love with it and knew we had to get married there! Since then, the Gate Street Barn team have been so supportive, kind, reassuring, and patient, always being on hand to answer all of our questions and offer advice whenever we needed it. We loved how genuinely excited the staff were for us, and they helped make our dream day a reality two years later. We couldn’t be happier! One thing we especially loved in the lead-up to our wedding was being able to visit the venue multiple times during the open days. It gave us the opportunity to chat with suppliers and plan how we could bring our vision to life. It’s such a beautiful venue, and so many of our guests commented on just how breathtaking it is. Every part of our wedding day was so thoughtfully planned and flowed seamlessly thanks to the team. Thank you so much, Holly and the Gate Street team, for making our wedding day so perfect. It was honestly the best day of our lives, and we cannot thank you enough for all of your support, advice, and guidance that helped make it happen!

We had our wedding at Gate Street Barn and it was magical. The venue itself is simply beautiful, but more than that people are amazing. The team were wonderful from the very first meeting, super helpful, accommodating and flexible, nothing was too much trouble, and no question was too minor! We have been inundated with compliments from our guests about how stunning the day was. We hope we have an excuse to go back soon!

Our wedding day at Gate Street was amazing. The venue is stunning, with lots of different areas across the site. We got married in the picturesque Farmhouse Avenue, located in the house garden. We then enjoyed drinks outside the barn and bar in the sunshine overlooking the beautiful grounds full of lovely cows and sheep. We have had so many compliments from our guests on how stunning the venue was. Holly was our wedding coordinator, and she did an incredible job throughout the whole process. She looked after our suppliers, kept us updated and on track. Her friendliness and passion for her craft made things easy for us. The rest of the team were also a joy to work with. We would highly recommend this venue!

We got married at Gate Street on the 11th June 2026. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue and amazing team who have supported us every step of the way and made the day so magical. Everything flowed so well on the day and everyone was calm and super helpful. We had the amazing Holly and Annabelle on the day and the bar manager Adam in the evening and they kept us feeling calm and everything just ran perfectly. They opened the pool up for us the morning after the wedding too as lots of us stayed on site (we stayed in the Pool House) and having a swim in the morning was so lovely. We have had so many people say what a perfect wedding venue it was and we cannot wait to come by and book to stay again. The White House was amazing too for the night before with my bridesmaids.

🌿 Venue Gate Street is stunning — effortlessly beautiful countryside views, blooming flowers everywhere, and that magical early‑morning smoky mist over the pool. Our family and friends who travelled from overseas absolutely loved the English countryside experience. 🏡 Accommodation The onsite accommodation is a gorgeous English country house. Waking up to sheep and cows grazing nearby was such a treat for our guests. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and added to the whole countryside charm. 👰‍♀️ Wedding Coordinator – Annabel Annabel was wonderful. She was responsive throughout the wedding preparations, which really helped ease my anxiety as a bride. On the day itself, she checked in on me in the makeup room, asked how I was feeling, and even helped open the door before I walked down the aisle — such a thoughtful touch. ⚠️ Gate Street Customer Service – Areas for Improvement 📦 Aftercare Communication There were no clear instructions about the day‑after process — where our items would be placed, what would be kept aside, or which belongings needed special attention. Because of this, my mother‑in‑law’s valuable table linen, which she kindly lent for our special day, has gone missing. Gate Street staff were unable to locate it. ⭐ Overall Gate Street is a breathtaking venue with beautiful accommodation and a wonderful coordinator in Annabel. However, clearer aftercare instructions and better communication would have made the experience truly seamless.
