Mother's day visit with my son. Beautiful countryside even with a little rain. Great service by all staff, fabulous cocktails and excellent food. The roast platter for two was amazing (you need a big appetite 😋) we weren't rushed even though the restaurant was very busy. Really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend. Well done The Moorlands Inn 👏

Disappointing meal, whilst the venue is nice our table was in a corner and felt claustrophobic. Food was ok, 2 had the pie which was good (although they mixed up what sides we asked for), the fish & chips was poor, fish was very greasy and tasted like the oil was old/dirty so the batter was inedible. Overall was just ok, don't think I would rush back

Was a guest at a wedding on the hotest day of the year, this place is beautiful, simple elegance, staff are great, young so we were thinking would they cope with a huge wedding... but they did, and were very attentive and good fun.

Great place to go with family or just as a couple. Lots of outside setting areas a conservatory and inside seating area in the restaurant. Good safe play area for children. Let's not forget the views. We did not order food but the food looked really good that came out and smelt delicious. The food prices are slightly on the higher price but the portions looked good.

We got married on the 18th April at the Grand Pavilion at the Moorlands Inn, and from the moment we arrived to the very end of the evening, everything was absolutely perfect. We honestly could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding day. The Grand Pavilion itself is stunning — such a beautiful setting and the perfect place to celebrate with all our family and friends. Every detail was taken care of, and the atmosphere throughout the whole day was incredible. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the venue looked and how smoothly everything ran. The food was truly on another level. Every course was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, and our guests are still talking about it now. It really exceeded all expectations and made the day feel even more special. What made the experience even better was the incredible staff. Every single member of the team was professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our day unforgettable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made us feel completely relaxed and looked after from start to finish. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but the team at the Moorlands Inn made everything feel easy and seamless. We also want to give a very special mention to Megan, who was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. From the very first booking right through to the wedding day itself, she went above and beyond for us. Her organisation, support, communication, and attention to detail were outstanding, and she truly made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress-free. On the day itself, she made sure everything ran perfectly and that we were able to relax and enjoy every moment. She genuinely cared about making sure we had the best day possible, and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. We honestly had the best day of our lives and will never forget it. We cannot thank the whole team enough for all their hard work, kindness, and attention to detail. If anyone is considering getting married here, we could not recommend the Moorlands Inn highly enough — it truly is the perfect wedding venue.
