The Old Rectory

A perfect stay. Beautiful room at the front of the property in the ‘Ebenezer’ - one night wasn’t long enough! Highlights include the enormously comfy bed, coffee and vegan cake at the café amongst wildflowers, the beautiful back garden overlooking the rooftops and a two course brekky which accommodated for vegans. Staff were lovely and we felt incredibly well looked after. Plus it’s a great location in the heart of the Old Town - although we didn’t ever want to leave the hotel. All the details are top notch, right down to a little sprig of lavender on our bed pillows and robes hanging in the wardrobe for our use. It’s the first time I’ve managed to unwind in months. Thank you for having us!

We had the best stay in The Old Rectory. We stayed for my birthday and the service could not have been better. Everyone was so lovely, the hotel is lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for making our stay so amazing and we’ll definitely be back!

We booked two nights at the Old Rectory whilst visiting Hastings. It’s perfectly placed at the top of Old Hastings giving easy access to the whole area. The property has been decorated to a high standard and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. Lionel and his team were unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area.
