Clapham Holme Farm

Had a family stay here for a week. The barn has been converted into 4 holiday homes. We stayed in a 2 bed, double room and a room with 2 single beds. Lovely spacious and clean with all the amenities you would need. Including a washing machine which was a nice touch if needed. My 2 kids loved the animals that you could feed and pet. Some goats, pigs, sheep. The star of the show was Eeyore the donkey proper character. It was a lovely quiet location where the kids could just go off and play 😁 10 mins drive to Hornsea with plenty of parking and Tesco for the essentials. But also 30 mins drive to Hull with plenty to fill a day. We went to 3 free museums. Its also a 30 min drive to Beverley. Definitely be going again. The kids insist

Lovely little farm, with a few cottages, an area for campers, a lake with a couple of boats, farm animals, play area for small children and football goals for any age. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to chat and tell you about the animals. A very quiet and peaceful area, even with the odd donkey 🫏 or horse noises. I stayed in the Hayloft so had the added extra of the hot tub, which was fab and private with screening up. 2 beaches are close by mappleton and Hornsea and a tiny shopping village, would definitely recommend x

Me and my family have just enjoyed our 3rd holiday in Primrose cottage and loved it, again. We even brought my parents, who stayed in Cowslip cottage and they have enjoyed it just as much. The whole site is lovely and peaceful. I love sitting by the lake and my kids love the football pitch and animals, and they even cried when we had to come home. The owners Liz & Dave are just so lovely and welcoming. They have created such a wonderful place to switch off from the world and make amazing memories. If i was planning on getting married, i would absolutely have it here, it must be so magical. However, i will just have to look forward to booking another holiday next year.
