We got married at AMOE on 3rd May 2026, and the whole day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. As soon as we saw the beautiful Poplar Barn, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It is truly stunning and provided the most incredible setting for our special day. The food was absolutely amazing and deserves a special mention. All the guests commented on how delicious it was, and the portions were incredibly generous. We had so many compliments throughout the day, and it's safe to say that nobody went home hungry! A huge shout-out to Lewis, who made sure everything ran so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing and were able to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Thank you to Katie, Lewis and all of the staff at AMOE for making our wedding day so special and creating memories that we will cherish forever. We will never forget it 💗 Love Sarah and Jason xx

We had our wedding here in April and it was absolutely incredible. Throughout all planning, the staff were attentive, helpful and very welcoming. It made planning it a dream! The location is absolutely beautiful surrounded by fields and wildlife with dreamy backdrops for photos. Honestly cannot thank each and every one of them for their hard work and determination in making our day so perfect! Thank you so much

We had a lovely wedding day at AMOE. The staff were great, made us feel relaxed and kept everything running smoothly. Our wedding was a surprise and they helped us keep the secret right up to the last minute. The venue looked great and we’d do it all there again tomorrow if we could!

Extremely disappointing service and a complete lack of customer consideration. We booked a pod for a wedding that was subsequently cancelled — something that was entirely outside of our control. We contacted the business with six months’ notice and asked whether they would consider a refund. Despite the significant notice period, they refused. I appreciate that their terms state bookings are non-refundable, but there is a difference between enforcing a policy and showing reasonable understanding towards a customer in exceptional circumstances. We had spent £185 on accommodation solely because we were attending this wedding and had absolutely no other reason to travel six hours to Ipswich. With six months’ notice, we expected at least some degree of understanding or goodwill from a decent business. Instead, we were met with what felt like a complete lack of empathy or willingness to help. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that, when we initially approached them about a refund, the pod was not even listed as available for rebooking on Airbnb. It was only added months later, after I had repeatedly chased the matter. This made the refusal to offer any form of refund or reasonable resolution even more disappointing. We fully understand that businesses need policies, but good customer service is also about applying common sense and discretion when circumstances genuinely warrant it. In this case, we were given neither. £185 lost, six months’ notice given, and not even a gesture of goodwill. Appalling customer service and a very disappointing experience.
