Hadleigh Town Hall

Booked out the Guildhall for a 70th birthday party. Flawless experience. From tbe start Veronica was incredibly helpful, answering and an all questions and being prompt with replies - super organised. The hall came with Prestige bar, who again were super communicative and set up a brilliant space in the venue. The bartenders that served us on the night we're friendly and professional - can't fault them. On the day had no problem with the set up of tables which was all done for us by the Guildhall janitor, super friendly, helpful and prompt. They let us bring in a DJ and our own caterers. Plenty of room for all of the above plus 50+ guests. The garden was a god send, a beautiful, huge space with lots of seating. Perfect for a summer night. Could do with some lighting in the garden for after sunset, but otherwise an absolutley perfect evening, it all ran smoothly from start to finish thanks to everyone involved.

Great experience of hiring the town hall for a small work event. Staff were very helpful with my initial booking and gave me all the information I needed, including good information about the options for hot weather. The caretaker was very helpful on the day keeping the curtains closed, ensuring we had fans etc and also very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Hadleigh town hall to colleagues and would think of the venue again if I was running an event in the area in the future.

Wow. If you are looking for the complete venue to hold your wedding then look no further. From the outset Veronica and her team were helpful and informative and only too happy to advise when needed. We went for the complete venue package which gave us 3 days hire (2pm until 10pm Friday, Saturday until midnight and a few hours clearing up time on Sunday). With the full venue we got: The Council Chamber (where we held our ceremony), the Guildroom and gardens (we used for pre drinks), The Old Town Hall (this was used for the wedding breakfast), The Grand Hall (for our evening reception) and also the downstairs dining room (we had an inflatable Photo Booth in here). With the mix of rooms with different styles of architecture our guests were amazed. On the day we lost count of how many people came up to praise the setting. Lee the caretaker couldn’t be more helpful. He stayed in contact throughout our hire and set most of the rooms out as we had asked. Even moving 100 chairs that weren’t needed at short notice. We had a lovely day in a wonderful setting.

Can't recommend the Guildhall highly enough as a place to rent space - I use the hall on a weekly basis for Pilates and have only positive things to say. Lovely and super helpful staff and very easy to book. The space is also clean and ready for use. Many thanks.

We were married here in April 1996 and returned for an informal vow renewal with our family to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We'd never been back and the place was a lovely as we remembered. All the team were extremely helpful, efficient and accommodating in helping us organise our event and we are very grateful. We would definitely recommend this venue.

Hadleigh Town Hall was a great space for our event. Lee, the caretaker was amazing as were the bar staff. Dave's communication was excellent. The gents toilet seat was detached from the toilet itself, unsafe and not the condition we anticipated toilets to be in. Accessibility is ok but very tight for motorised wheelchairs. Nevertheless, a great time was had by those who attended.

I would like to Thank Veronica and the rest of the team who run this fantastic venue. I have used the venue on two occasions to facilitate training sessions over a 3 day period. The building is very charming and the facilities are clean, accessible and user friendly. I will be continuing to us the venue for all my training sessions in the area in future as every need is always met and I look forward to doing so.
