Kelburn Castle and Estate

We had a fantastic day out at Kelburn Estate with the whole family, including three children (one of whom is just one year old) and our two dogs. There was something for everyone to enjoy. The children loved exploring, and there was plenty to keep them entertained throughout the day. The walks are absolutely beautiful, with lots to see and a lovely atmosphere. It's also very dog-friendly, which made the day even better. We stopped for food and ice cream, and both were delicious. The staff were friendly and everything was well organised. Overall, it was a brilliant family day out, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend Kelburn Estate if you're looking for a fun day outdoors with children and dogs.

Absolutely beautiful, country estate with a quirky painted castle and lots of history. Some trees are 1000 years old. Wonderful uphill waterside walk through the trees and helpful staff. Sat outside and had an ice cream. Dog friendly gardens, we had our dog with us. Don't know if you can go in the castle as still a residential one.

Lovely place for a day out. We spent the afternoon walking, sightseeing and enjoying the wildlife and nature trails. Then we got up to the actual house which is beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend it!

My favourite wedding venue in Scotland! I recently provided the wedding flowers for a wedding at Kelburn Castle and it's one of the best experiences I've had as a supplier. The staff go absolutely above and beyond to ensure the suppliers are looked after. At the heart of everything they did was the couple getting married. The staff genuinely cared about the couple. The secret garden is an incredible place for the ceremony and the gazebo provided a really nice opportunity to add flowers and create a wee photo spot for guests. I liked this place. For a winter visit to the grounds and to only have to pay £4 for parking was great. We were lucky with the weather, I think some of the sculptures need a re think. But it’s coo. The cafe was decent too. Small car park so worth being early
