Woodlands Hotel

We Recently had our daughters wedding at The Woodlands hotel And we can not praise them highly enough. Someone told me that "they work like a finely tuned machine " And how right they were ! James ,Tom , Abigail. And all the staff WOW Kind ,polite ,efficient , nothing was to much trouble . At one point I walked past the staff all lined up with their hands behind their backs like a military operation They made everything a complete pleasure So We got to relax and enjoy the day I didn't get asked a question or bothered about any part of the day they were fully in control it was FLAWLESS ! If your looking for" Total Elegance" but with a warm family feel and amazing food that runs like clockwork Then there is no other place to go !! Mrs L Adams Happy m.o.b xx

Stayed in hotel for Best friends wedding. Not lots of room to move about. Bathroom lighting not the best definitely needs more. On entering 2 fly's , 9 ladybirds. Very off putting (room 21). However on speaking to reception they did offer us another room, but didn't have time due to us attending wedding. Management however then gave us 50% off our price. The food was lovely throughout the day and evening. Compliments to the chef and all the team as they was so lovely and helpful. The grounds surrounding are beautiful and really is picture perfect for a wedding.

Lovely place with decent facilities. Me and partner came here for a single night stay and it was nearly perfect. The views were great, and you wouldn't think it was just off of a main road with how quiet and peaceful it was. My one gripe was with how noisy it could be in the hallways, as the old floorboards made it so you could hear everyone moving in the corridors. The breakfast was also great along with the food served at the event we were there to attend.

We had the pleasure of my nieces wedding here Monday 25th May The venue, including the grounds were very inviting and chic. But I have to say the big take away for me was the whole team that ran the event were impeccable. The food was just fantastic, canapés were fresh and hot, the wedding breakfast just Mmmmm, and breakfast the next day again lovely menu and very well done. It’s refreshing to see such a well trained, high level of service. Bravo Woodlands You did us proud Sharon Carlin x

My Daughter, Brogan and now Son in Law, James, held there Wedding with you on Friday12th June. I cannot express how good the whole day and night along with the following morning was. Every single member of staff (bar none) was incredible. Helpful, polite, happy and genuinely could not do enough. The venue is insane, the food is insane and we all just had the most incredible time. The Wedding was absolutely perfect. Huge thank you to every single person who was involved. We all had the best day ever. Thank you Spencer (Father of the Bride).

WOW WOW!!🥹❤️ Mine and Josh’s wedding was on the 1st August 2026. We booked our wedding back in 2024 and ever since then, we went to EVERY showcase & event at Woodlands on the build up to our wedding😅✨ and we are so glad we did!! Upon having our first look around at Woodlands ( it was literally the first venue we looked at! ) we just knew we wanted our wedding here🤍 The staff at Woodlands are just amazing, welcoming, friendly, helpful! We were always asked if we wanted a drink anytime we’d arrived for a meeting. Our wedding coordinator was Jess Tomlinson, absolutely fantastic wedding coordinator! She was always there if we had any questions and always just an e-mail or call away! Her communication was amazing, especially on the last run up to our big day. Jess helped us plan our whole day from start to finish with exceptional attention to detail, nothing was forgotten, everything and anything was thought of! Even swapped my free drink for a gin and lemonade and my mums to a sex on the beach😅🧡🍹 she was just simply amazing! Marc was our toastmaster, who we had a meeting with just before our big day, he went through absolutely everything with us and put our minds at rest with a few things. Marc is everything you’d want as a toastmaster! His energy and amazing personality showed on our big day! The energy he brought to our wedding breakfast I can’t even describe into words! He popped the roof off! The room was bouncing and full of energy! We will never forget his loud, energetic voice welcoming us into our wedding breakfast! It was ace!!😃🥳 Now to mention the food at Woodlands, we went for our menu tasting and it was amazing! The portion sizes are perfect! Everything was spot on. The food on our big day was perfect, everyone said to us how good it was and how much they enjoyed it!🍴The kitchen staff and chef, wow👏🏻 the amount of effort they put in really does show. They even put some of our wedding cake in our room at the end of the night!! ( thank you!! )🍰 I could go on and on writing so many more good things!! ALL the staff at Woodlands are incredible.
