I was impressed from the moment I arrived. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. The room was really nice, the bathroom was big with a really large shower. We ate in the restaurant both nights and again the food and service did not disappoint. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and again the choice and quality of the food and the service was excellent. The hotel is ideally situated a stones throw from Rudyard lake and a short walk from the Rudyard steam railway. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning. 100% recommended

We had our wedding here at Rudyard hotel 07.03.2026 and it was absolutely amazing. From when we first visited Rudyard to our actual wedding day everything was perfect. Kim was just outstanding with her caring professional personality, nothing was to much trouble. The food was remarkable, lots of choice, the presentation & quality was amazing. On the day Kim & Gemma made sure everything went to plan, all the staff were very helpful & friendly. Rudyard is a beautiful place with its scenic views, very friendly atmosphere & ample parking, the breakfast the next morning was excellent quality and very filling, we definitely would recommend Rudyard to anyone wanting to find a perfect romantic venue to get married in or even just to pop in for a drink or food, thank you all at Rudyard for making our wedding day exceptional love Sue & Andy xxx

We stopped for some refreshments while walking around the lake. Cakes look nice. Has a nice outdoor seating area and good bar. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. You can pay for the car park at the bar / cafe side.
