This is part of the Doddington Hall estate but can be visited independently of Hall. Before we visited the Hall for the Christmas displays, we had booked for afternoon tea at the Coach House. Booking ahead is essential and when I had booked three weeks ago, there was very limited slots available. There is a separate veggie menu but as I love Salmon, I chose extra fish rather than meat sandwiches. The scones were massive and delicious, and came with a generous portion of jam & clotted cream. The final selection of cakes were also tasty, especially the mince pie. From the tea selection, we went for the Lincolnshire blend and our pot was kept filled by the friendly waiting staff. We had our slot for 1.5 hours and that was enough time, without feeling rushed. Good value at £30 a head, especially for such a scenic venue which was decorated for Christmas.
