County Arms

My partner and I held our wedding reception here on 22nd May. We were so impressed with the food and atmosphere here and the wedding went off without a hitch. The attention to detail and timing was absolutely faultless. Nothing was too much of an ask, they very kindly decorated the Belvedere room and provided a spreadsheet with the detailed plan for the day which took a lot of stress off me! They also provided a mike for the speeches and filled the maragarita machine which was very popular with our guests! The venue itself is beautiful with plenty of secret spots for great posed and candid shots. It's flattering window lighting to the garden that comes alive at night due to the lighting that adorn strategic spots adding to the magic of the venue. The atmosphere benefits from having background music pumped through speakers that blend in to the garden. We also had a band and plenty of room for a big dancefloor! The doors open into the garden which was lovely for people to flow through and keep us all together. Everyone loved the welcome drinks on the patio and how the glasses were arranged in hearts! Annie in particular was amazing and so accomodating, guests praised how lovely and helpful she was and we cannot thank her, Phil and the team enough! Best Wishes, Alana

We had our wedding reception at the County Arms last week in the Beldevere room and can’t speak highly enough of it. We planned this all the way from Australia and they made it so easy and seamless. Clara organised everything for us by email before the wedding and was super super responsive, on the day Annie and Phil looked after everything for us and no request was too much. They were really accommodating, the food service was quick (and delicious!!!) and they were really helpful with setting up. So glad we chose the County Arms and would recommend for anyone else to come here for their reception!

Really relaxed staff, Clara, Phil, Alex and Annie in particular really calming and whole team was lovely. Nuki's cooking was divine! Nice mix of heritage and modern

Rob was our server and was amazing! We ordered the trio roast and cauliflower cheese, which was delicious (highly recommend) Our table was a tad too small for the massive plate of food we ordered, so we got moved to a really nice table. Lovely cosy Sunday lunch, we will be back! x

We held our wedding reception at The County Arms in March and can’t recommend the venue or the team enough. They provided us with so much support and advice in the lead up to the day and we felt very reassured knowing they had everything in hand. They were very flexible with what we wanted and thought of everything before we even asked! There were lots of options but we didn’t feel pressured to go for the most expensive ones and it really felt that the staff wanted to facilitate the choices which were right for us. On the day, the team were so professional and friendly and made it all run so smoothly with the music, food, timings and room layout - we didn’t have to worry about anything and could focus on having a fantastic time with our guests. The food was excellent and catered for all dietary requirements, which the staff were very attentive to. Special mention to Clara for brilliant planning, Phil and Alex who advised us on food and Annie who was incredible leading the team on the day. It was the perfect balance of a fancy and relaxed space - great for eating, mingling and dancing. We are so happy that we decided to hold our reception here and wouldn’t hesitate to hold other parties here. It’s a great pub for Sunday lunch too!

I hired out the Trinity Room for a Traitors Dinner Party and it was perfect!! From start to finish, Clara was so helpful in organising the event, helping me with every detail. Gemma on the night was great at helping me facilitate an amazing evening. All the servers were so friendly. The food was amazing and great value for money. Would highly recommend!!

We had our special day at the County Arms in August 2025 and we can't thank the team enough for making our day as amazing as it was! Special mentions: Clara - an absolute diamond. Always so quick to respond to my queries (and there were lots of them!!) Super friendly and so reassuring about things when I was being a stress head!! Bradley - brought our vision to life perfectly and we had so many compliments from guests who mentioned how beautiful everything was. Was so attentive on the day and kept everything running as smoothly as possible. Alex - an absolute delight, from the day we met for our food tasting to the big day itself. You were brilliant! Willa - had such fantastic energy behind the bar during the evening and was super smiley and friendly. The chef(s) - absolutely delicious food. We had the Burger Shack for our sit down meal, which we were grateful to the team for accomodating. The late night snacks in particular went down a treat! We knew from the moment we saw The Belvedere and met the team, that we had found our perfect venue and we are so grateful to you all for all your hard work. The decking area was perfect for our welcome drinks and the beautiful weather was an added bonus. If you're considering a more budget friendly wedding in London, I'd highly recommend considering the County Arms - you won't be disappointed!!
