Nice friendly place, a real asset near the station. Pint of Aspalls is £4 80, the locals are friendly and the food menu looks good. A shame fares are so expensive as the food looks good too
Decent enough...light and airy. Landlord seemed nice...popular boozer. No real ales...one pump not active...Nice chilled lager purchased. Extensive and good value food. Pizza bargain and good size. Main reason to attend was to watch a football match on TNT Sports. Well placed screens including behind the bar. Clean enough venue. Various music events advertised. Imagine a good space for a night out.
Me and my partner pre booked a roast today for 4pm, arrived in good time and we throughly enjoyed it. Everything was still warm, tasty and we ate the lot. Even better, free delivery! We will definitely be ordering again and maybe a pudding next time.
What a great. Pub, the food, was delicious and reasonably priced, our waitress was brilliant, very cheerful and attentive, and the new Mojos band that played later on was, as usual Off the charts.. Definitely going to come back to this, little gem again when we're in town
Food service was a little slow but the lovely young lady apologised and kept us informed. The food was well worth the wait! The best game pie I have ever had and all meals were delicious and plenty of it too!
Great place for wedding hire. Top staff will definitely recommend and return to this great pub
Is Monday pizza deal is a scam or something else ? When went on Monday, the person says ring on Sunday noon to make advance booking... Already tried 6 times in last 2 hours, always getting directed to voicemail
