Bedford Lodge Hotel

We’ve had a fabulous first stay at Bedford Lodge and couldn’t be happier with our stay. Our room is lovely, with a large, incredibly comfortable bed, and everything is spotlessly clean. The service has been exemplary, with every member of staff being so welcoming and attentive. Our dinner was beautifully presented, and the service throughout the evening was outstanding. You can really tell how much care goes into making guests feel special. After a hard and very busy summer of work, this is exactly what we needed — somewhere peaceful and relaxing where we can properly unwind. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so lovely. We would absolutely recommend the Bedford Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and special stay. Thank you.

I stayed at the Bedford Hotel for five nights in June while on a business trip and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel has a wonderful ambience and an excellent location, making it very convenient for my stay. The staff were consistently polite and welcoming, and I was particularly impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of the front desk team. Breakfast was another highlight — a wonderful selection and a great way to start the day. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with excellent service. I would happily stay at the Bedford Hotel again.

Lovely hotel, close enough to town so can walk, if able to, in 15 minutes. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was very good and tasty, amazing breakfasts! Rooms good size and very clean, fridge with fresh milk and cold water. Good supply of tea, coffee etc. Bathroom well stocked with soaps etc.. fluffy bath robes and towels. Has air con but I personally found it a bit warm as duvet was very thick. I would have given 5 🌟 if electric sockets near bed(required for medical reasons), and window and frame, was cleaner on outside. Overall, nice stay.

Had an exceptional stay at Bedford Lodge. All of the team are very warm, welcoming & helpful. The dinner was exceptional, with a great range of options (wine list is also elite). The rooms are thoughtfully laid out, beds are regal. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful overnight stay with friends. The hotel is beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather that we sat out on the terrace for drinks and the next morning for coffee. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the moment we checked in with the very polite and welcoming greeting from Eleanor on reception to all the staff working there in the bar restaurants gym and cleaners. Couldn’t fault anyone. Definitely all coming back again . Big thank you to Eleanor on reception 😊
