On June 13th 2026 myself and my husband got married at Lysaghts it was the best day! There was no thing that went wrong. There was no complaints about anything. The ladies who work her and organise weddings and then oversee the weddings are just amazing! They are beautiful people inside and out

We had our son's Christening on the 26th of April. We had a brilliant time. The food was very delicious. The staff were very polite,kind and always on hand to assist. The room was elegantly decorated. It was easy to organise the event from the first phone call with Emma to the day of the event. We had great fun and I recommend this venue to everyone interested.

We held our wedding reception at The Lysaght in Newport on Saturday 21st March 2026 and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Everything was exceptional from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding, with so many of our guests commenting on both the quality and presentation. The room layout was beautifully arranged and created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that suited our celebration perfectly. Every detail felt thoughtfully planned and executed. What truly made the day stand out, though, was how smoothly everything ran & nothing went wrong, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment without any stress. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Helen and Martine, who went completely above and beyond for us. Their support, organisation and genuine care made all the difference. They ensured everything ran seamlessly and were always on hand to help with anything we needed. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our day so special. We would highly recommend The Lysaght to anyone looking for a wedding venue — it was simply perfect. Thankyou so much ❤️

From the very first moment of booking to the meticulous room planning and the flawless execution of the event itself, everything was absolutely PERFECT. Emma’s exceptional coordination and attention to detail brought everything seamlessly together, while Martina’s creative support helped shape my vision beautifully. Even just five minutes before the event started, Martina checked in to ensure every last detail was just right. I truly can’t thank the entire team enough! The venue is stunning both inside and out, complemented by an incredible staff who made the experience unforgettable. ❤️❤️

I arranged our (parent-led) school prom here 2nd July 2026 for 75 students. What a wonderful venue to host a Prom, and also wonderful to work with. Emma, the events coordinator was at the end of an email or phone throughout my organisation journey. She answered every question I had promptly and enthusiastically. She wanted our prom to be as much of a success as I did. The level of her commitment is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. The evening of the event, we were graced with Martina, the event manager for the night. This lady is absolutely SUPERB at her job. We had a minor issue that she dealt with swiftly and with absolute professionalism. She was constantly attentive, making sure everything and everyone was OK, and asking if I was happy with everything or if anything needed changing. The spread of food that was laid on was beautifully presented and ample. The students had more than enough and a great selection to choose from. Martina sought out all our students with allergens and spoke to them to make sure they were aware of which foods were catered to them. This lady is an asset to Lysaghts, she is not only brilliant at her job, she is the loveliest and politest person you could ever meet. If there is a problem, she is on it and it's dealt with before anyone would notice! I cannot rate these staff members highly enough. Emma and Martina, you made our prom so extra special, I will never forget what a wonderful event you laid on for our students. You both went above and beyond to make it the huge success that it was! I am so very glad we were lucky enough to hold our prom at your venue, I know that no other venue would have given us the same level of commitment and dedication than you did. You made it personal, you cared. It meant as much to you as it did to me. I cannot thank you enough. Finally, to any school who are looking for a prom venue, look no further, you won't be disappointed, I promise you!
