Newbridge Memo

This was the first time we had been to this theatre. We went to see a school production, which was amazing. Had seats near the front. Went on one of the hottest days. There is no air conditioning, as it's an old building, so it was very hot inside. The seats were comfortable and the view really good. The deco was lovely. The only bad thing was the amount of stairs you have to climb to get to the auditorium. Not good if you have mobility issues, although as we came out I did see a sign saying lift, but not sure if it worked as no one seemed to be using it. Would gave been nice if we were made aware of it on entry. Parking was a nightmare as there is no car park and all the streets near were for residents or restricted. So allow time to park. I would go again to see something I was really interested in.

Sat Nav didn't like taking me there however when we did manage to right our way... it was worth it. Lovely venue. Very friendly staff. Great Cheap bar prices and a perfect view from the balcony. Acoustics were great too.

Went to a wedding here loved the venue and the theatre is beautiful. Parking was a little tricky but we did park just fine around the back/a street down with a short walk to the front of the building. Friendly staff and plenty of amenities it was a great night. Good place for a wedding. Seems they can cater for many functions as well.

Has a good library and dance area hosting many live events. Staff are highly motivated and friendly. A valuable local community asset.

Came here to see the Women in Rock show and it was incredible. Brilliant venue with good access and excellent facilities. Shame not more people had booked into the show as they really missed out. Highly recommend this venue.
