We are travelling around on our narrow boat and found this village pub through Google and the Waterways Guide. The reviews were not great; but decided to try it for ourselves. So glad we did, incredibly friendly welcome from locals and staff alike. We didn’t eat here but the pub is clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this establishment

Had our wedding reception here. Barn was lovley but food and service was very poor would not recommend any function with over 20 guests the current management can't deal with much more. We had 60 you can guess what happened

Whenever I am moored nearby I visit the Royal Oak. Always excellent food, beer and atmosphere with some of the friendliest of staff and clientele.
