Oakridge Golf Club

We had our wedding reception here last Saturday. It was amazing! Far exceeded our expectations. Jodie and Shane from the very beginning were attentive and put you at ease. The bar staff were friendly and service was quick as we had a very full room. The extra decor they throw in for free in the room were beautiful. The food was so good. We had the slow roast and you can’t go wrong with brisket and mac and cheese. My guests have all been in touch to say the food was the best wedding food they have ever had. If you are looking for a relaxed wedding but with exception service look no further than the Oakridge. I would do it all over again 10 x just to have another party there. A massive thank you to you all we had an amazing day/night and you played a huge part in that 💕

I really liked this course, it's got a good selection of holes and has lovely views across the surrounding country. The course was very well kept with fast greens, played the Derby at the Belfry recently, it wasn't in this good a condition and it cost nearly double what I paid at Oakridge. Couple of places where there's obviously construction being done but it didn't detract. Pro shop was friendly and generally a good experience all round. I'd love to play it again.

My son and wife held their wedding reception at the Oakridge club on 1907/2024 and we cannot thank Shane, Jodie and their team enough. They went over and beyond to make it a fabulous day for all. Nothing was too much trouble for these lovely people. The clubhouse looked fabulous. Thank you so much.

Disappointed with how my two lads ( both 14 yrs old) were treated today at Oakridge GC. No trolleys allowed on course which is understandable and fine but the club shop were not helpful in leaving trolley's anywhere safe and secure, they had to be left outside and the person in the shop was rude and dismissive saying"does it look like we've got space in here". Then the last 5 holes, the greens were unplayable due to water, and no refund was offered and they were told the club house was full so they were not made welcome in the clubhouse and had to sit elsewhere soaking wet. Bit disappointed to say the least as they were looking forward to playing the course for the first time. £25 a round to be treated like this is not acceptable...... We will not be recommending this course.

Played 16/01/26 using a GolfNow deal, really good value. Impressive set up. Greens in fantastic condition. Staff friendly. Fairways boggy in places but given recent weather to be expected.

Great course and golf club. The course is well taken care of, with good greens all year long. The club house is also very good options of food and beer a garden.

I grew up playing golf here. Hadn't been back for years but enjoyed a couple of great rounds here recently. The course is in immaculate condition and I wish I had a few more mates who would be up for joining as I'd be back in a heartbeat!
