Samuel Worth Chapel

We hired the chapel for our wedding party with friends a few days after our actual wedding. Everything was really simple and Andy and team were a great support with lots of advice. The venue itself is stunning, built in 1886 you really feel a sense of drama and history. We had space outside to sit in the sun and had our own suppliers come in and set up some street food. Our party was a couple of days after the summer solstice and the variation of light throughout the evening was amazing. Can’t recommend it enough though max capacity is 60 including staff so better for smaller gatherings and groups.

Its a great venue for a party and you are not going to upset the neighbours. Emma, Andy and the team go above and beyond to make sure your event goes well. Its a special and unusual space which will not be for every one but was great for our celebration. we had 55 sat down for a meal and some dancing afterwards. Definatly worth a look .

A lovely intimate venue for small events. High ceilings, thick walls and quiet neighbours. Has a hatch bar serving a basic range of drinks; cards taken. Maximum venue capacity is about 80.

The Samuel worth chapel is an excellent and unique event space which has large columns and impressive front entrance leading to a delightful interior full of light , The surroundings of the Samuel worth chapel are a mixture of architectural gravestone designs with a Variety of famous pioneers in Sheffield history buried there well worth a visit for the historical factors alone and to marvel at some of the creations donated by loved ones. There is also a church that it passed on the main entrance in ,this is closed to the public as privately owned but the outside has some fascinating stone faces and carvings attached to the roof church edges. The cemetery itself has a fair bit of animal life from birds to bats foxes and the occasional badger sighting that roam at night so plenty to see observe and do at this location.

What a wonderful building and architecture. Nice to see it restored to a usable state. No more funerals, but weddings, art shows, film shows and other events.

Nice view and it's a different park, given that it's a cemetery. It's a little run down though.

Interesting event at this beautiful venue. Refreshments available and clean toilets. Good facilities.
