The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire

Going to Sheffield is always amazing, arriving by train is particularly nice when you discover the lovely sculptures around the entrance and the welcome message written across a whole building, the wild flowers being encouraged everywhere you go and the beautiful mosaic water feature at the university. The Goldsmith's North Exhibition was fascinating, Cutlers Hall is amazing and the food is suitable for a variety of diets, can't speak for the men, but the ladies are well catered for and I love that there are lots of comfy sofas where you can escape from the hustle and bustle.

What a fantastic venue. So beautiful. At a corporate event here and just keep wandering around taking pictures instead. The doors keep knocking me over. In terms of hospitality, I didn't expect packet sandwiches and stewed tea. But that might be the budget option! It's definitely worth a visit, though.

What a superb building. First time I have visited and it is so beautiful. Perfect for a wedding or big event. Lovely friendly staff.

This is the Capital of the cutlery industry in Sheffield. The building is rich in History and the rooms are amazing. The facilities are second to none and it's like being in a Palace! Staff are amazing, the food is superb and the while place is on point with catering for big events. Amazing place.

The wheelchair access is via a steep ramp that has no sides! See photos attached. You need people to stabilise your wheelchair as you go up, coming down is backwards! The accessible toilet is lovely, it has an open bin and paper towels, useful and hygienic for those that need them. Room to turn around in my electric, though a tight manoeuvre for side transfer. Lift to all floors though not all rooms accessible, some require more ramps. Having said all this the venue is indeed stunning and worth the hassle getting in and out. Food was good quality and staff very attentive.
