Albrighton Hall and Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals

Had our wedding here over the weekend. Cant say enough about how good they were. Jenny and steve and team looked after us from the moment we got there till the moment we left. Nothing was to much trouble and with everything going on our day was seemless. Turned the rooms around quickly. The rooms were all massive with lots of space. The food in the bar was really good and the service was always done with a smile or helpful where needed. The pool was brilliant we spent a few hrs in there relaxing and some of our guests said the spa was also really good. I cant thank them enough for making our day so special.

Nice grounds, close to town but far enough away. Lovely welcome from the reception and big room. Child bed not made up so I had to ring for it to be made up. I was told we only booked for 2 people so I had to find my booking to prove we had a child with us and they looked again and saw we had booked for 3. It was made up shortly after by a nice member of staff. Pool was warm , a quarter of it taken up by lessons but if was fine. Jacuzzi wasn't working and not all the thermal rooms were working. We had a drink in the bar and my husband waited 10 minutes for anyone to appear to serve us drinks. That was around 3.30p.m. We also had dinner in the bar, we asked if pizzas were homemade and we were told yes. The base didn't seem like it was at all, maybe they just put toppings on but it was very poor. My husband had the curry and again not very pleasant. My soup for starter had no taste, very bland. I would not eat in the bar again. The breakfast was OK, eggs were hard fried eggs. I have stayed in this hotel numerous times as a child with family so I decided to take my little family. It didn't have the same feel unfortunately.

Mid week break very reasonably priced. Excellent breakfast, lots of choice and seated in a splendid room. Mostly located in an old building, so massive oak staircases-bit of a climb but fabulous views across Shropshire. Ground floor rooms if you can’t do stairs. Lovely grounds, great bar meals too, lovely staff. Would be great for weddings.

We stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary. The rooms are quiet and clean: we had fresh towels each day & coffee station refilled. Staff were polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good, although the bacon was cut thick for my taste. Bar food good in the evening £18 per head. Leisure facilities at the adjacent spa were tired. Pool is small with murky water. Jacuzzi out of action. Grounds are beautiful and location is ideal for exploring Shropshire. Revommended
