What a lovely place. We spent two nights at the barns as we attended a wedding at the castle just a stones throw away. Rooms are cosy, warm with everything you need including light refreshments. Beds are comfortable and definitely what you need to melt into after a night of dancing. The breakfast bar provides much choice of fruit, cereal, juice and yogurts. The cooked breakfast offers local produce all cooked to order, most definitely no economy sausages here! Of course, we can't review without mentioning the lovely mum and son golden labradors Bella and I think they said Hudson (although they may have said "her son"!) who quite liked a little head ruffle and a fuss too. Despite mentions in previous reviews of the lack of WiFi and patchy phone signal we had no issues using our 5G signal to update socials but given the views, environment and likely nature of the visit to the barns I'm not entirely sure WiFi is an essential. Overall good value for money, cracking views, good quality, filling breakfast and happy, helpful staff on hand to aid with any extras or help we needed during our stay. Would definitely consider another stay if we were ever back in the area! Thanks Lorraine, Kevin and team!

Absolutely perfect location for anyone getting married at Rowton Castle and wanting to stop over the night before / night of. It's literally a 10 minute walk to the castle or 2 minute drive. The rooms are comfortable and great value for money, there's a large lounge area complete with honesty bar for relaxing in the evening, and a large free car park for overnight parking. Really impressed.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Rowton Barns. We booked out the whole place for two nights for our wedding guests, with guests arriving at different times, some very late at night, all in all a bit of a logistical challenge. But everyone was super helpful and all went off without a hitch. Lovely rooms, tasty breakfast and served promptly, no issues with water pressure unlike some other reviews. Phone signal is a bit patchy but it works in places and who really cares when you’re in such lovely surroundings with a great honesty bar. Thanks again!
