I honestly don’t think we’ll ever be able to put into words just how grateful we are for everything you did to make our wedding day so unbelievably special ❤️ From start to finish, it was everything we dreamed of and more. We felt so looked after the entire day, and for someone who worries and stresses about absolutely everything 😂 being able to completely switch off and just enjoy our wedding meant more to me than you’ll ever know. The waiting staff were absolutely AMAZING. Every single person was so kind, attentive and lovely. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and everything just flowed so perfectly. Please pass on the biggest thank you to them all because they were such a huge part of making our day what it was. The whole place looked beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more special place to become husband and wife 🥹 The Wroxeter will forever hold such a special place in our hearts. Thank you for taking something we had imagined for so long and helping turn it into the most beautiful day of our lives. We genuinely wish we could do the whole bloody day all over again! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything ❤️ Laura & Tom xxx
We had our wedding here in December. It was a fabulous day. Above our expectations. Kaya helped us so much and everything was explained to us and ran smoothly. All our guests said they had a fab time! Thank you
Can you picture this,a Sunday afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches, lovely cakes and scones.1940's tea set with some Glen Miller playing in the background. All we needed was a spitfire flying up above. Its a nice setting inside the hotel with some nice decking to relax on outside. The young girl who looked after us was great,I think she was the receptionist, waitress and everything else rolled into one. Apart from the conservatory's you don't see much of the Hotel or the history of the hotel which is a shame.Even though there was a wedding on the day seemed a bit flat somehow.
Recently married here. Beautiful location for perfect photos and videos, and we had an amazing time getting married but thats in spite of some challenges. They take time to reply to emails and don’t often answer the phone, which can be stressful when planning a wedding. Not many staff present on the day, including our wedding planner, leaving our family on set up duties. My wife and her bridesmaids stayed the night before and there was a rowdy group who kept everyone up until 4am with nothing really done about it. On the day of the wedding The DJ we paid for said he wanted to "go and do some admin" so left a young lad in charge - it wasn’t great and not many of our music choices were played until the last hour. They didn’t set the speaker up for the speeches in the tipi until there was only one person left to talk so people struggled to hear the speeches. Our vegetarian guests were also made to wait for their food as the order seemed to have been lost. We were happy regardless as we’d been waiting for this day and nothing was going to ruin it for us. Our kids had the best time and they kept the bar open for us which was nice to get a few extra drinks in before bed. However, when you spend so much money you want everything perfect.
We stayed here for a friend's wedding. Our issue was not the venue itself, it was with the room. For £155 per night (discounted for being part of the wedding party!), it was very basic, tiny and tatty, felt like a 1980's time capsule. The TV was no more than a small computer monitor with an attachment that acted as some kind of booster, didn't work, TV was unwatchable, not ideal if you wanted to catch the footy! Couldn't open the windows on a stiflingly hot evening either, which led to a very poor night sleep. The place is in dyer need of a refurbished. Tried to phone down to reception only to find the old telephone handset was dead, when I went to reception, I waited for 10 minutes and nobody came. We enjoyed the day as a whole, the setting is stunning, however, the room was disappointing and didn't reflect the price, not even close.
We had a handfasting at the Wroxeter in October 2025. Throughout the planning process the team were really helpful, as we went into planning with little idea as to what planning a wedding ceremony entails. Kaya and Abi were both so helpful in the planning process, and we had such a lovely day with our friends and family. The entire staff on the day were so helpful and accommodating, making us feel at ease despite the jitters of the event. We were very lucky to be blessed with nice weather, with the outdoor woodland area being so beautiful in the autumn. All out guests loved the difference and complimented the venue and staff there. The food was amazing too! We would happily recommend the Wroxeter for anyone planning a ceremony.
One of my absolute favourite venues to shoot at. It’s beautiful and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The wild flowers and their outdoor ceremony area in spring / summer is beautiful.
