Watergate YARD

Very quirky decor, not to everyone's taste but they own it. Not a great place if you're looking for peace and quiet. They had live music on when we visited and it was very loud in the room. There is also another venue across the street so sleep can be quite hard to come by. The staff were fantastic, extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Parking is an issue. There is a Sainsbury's close by but you can only park there for 2 hours between 9 and 4, overnight is free but if you like a lie in you must pay for your 2 hours commencing at 9. I would stay again but I'd check to see if there was live music on before doing so.

What a great little find. Rooms are great. Food was excellent on the evening, breakfast was perfect. Quirky and full of character. If I'm within 25 miles of here again I'll be staying here for sure.

Myself, my husband and our friend ate here yesterday. This is the second time we have eaten here in the past couple of months and the the food is absolutely delicious. Two of us had sausage and mash which is the best i have ever had! This place has a lovely atmosphere and I highly recommend. Whenever we travel to see our friend who was with us who lives locally we will definetely return here. I highly recommend.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for the World Cup game and the room was lovely and a very comfy stay. Breakfast included was delicious 🤤 will definitely be back!

We recently had a party in the barn area of the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was beautiful and cozy, creating the perfect setting for our celebration. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. The food was delicious and well presented, and all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. The barn itself is a wonderful venue — spacious, charming, and perfect for a special event. Thank you for helping make our party such a memorable experience. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great venue for celebrations. Thank you Hollie and Ryan and all the team, love you guys xxx

Honestly, the staff here are great, I stupidly spilt a full pint down myself knocking it off the table, and I believe it was one of the owners Ryan went and got me a hairdryer for me to dry my jeans off as they don't have hand driers in the toilets. Top service and and even better pub 🍺

this is a lovely place and the food is great.well worth a visit and we will certainly return.the guy who served us couldn't of been any nicer, very friendly and helpful.
