Tonic Rooms

Just enjoyed a delightful lunch at the Tonic Rooms, we both had the Vegan Power Bowl with the Falafel and Smoked Salmon options plus Chips. Absolutely delicious, such fresh and tasty food served with a wonderful tangy dressing - the service was exceptional too, we can highly recommend a trip out to the Tonic Rooms.

Lovely place, fantastic food and service as usual. We had a late lunch today so we also had the joy of some live music too. 10/10

First visit today. Very nice in Garden Room.Staff plenty and all friendly . My huge problem was toilets. They have extended to have the cafes , outside seating and now have musical evenings such as tribute bands BUT 2 temporary looking toilets. If they are to enjoy longevity they must have permanent toilets and more of them. Otherwise really enjoyed our visit. Did a bit of shopping too so worth it. Lots of unexpected products which was exciting. Will go again but hope owners take on board my comments regarding toilets which would be lovely. Regards Debbie Lewis

What a great find! New owners are putting their stamp on this place. It is on one side of the farm shop and consists of two big rooms (one with a lovely log burner) and a private room. We had a party of 15 which was chaotic at times for them with people arriving late but nothing threw the TR team off. The food is extremely reasonable and, even more importantly, freshly cooked, lovely and hot and with great choices for everyone. We had scampi and chips, quiches (including a veggie option) open steak sandwiches, fish finger sandwiches, "under the sea" (smoked salmon, avocado, poached eggs and hollandaise on sourdough). Everyone loved their food, we all said we would come back. What was nice was that we had such a relaxed meal (in the private room) and were able to sit and chat afterwards without feeling rushed out. A really good lunch, perfect for smaller or larger groups. The staff were great, but most importantly they serve delicious chips, crispy and golden on the outside and soft and melting inside. The best chips I have had in ages!!

Found this little gem for coffee and lunch. Not a place that is easy to walk to due to the road it's on, but that's not their challenge. The staff were incredible and friendly. Great range of food and the coffee and cake (not pictured as already eaten) was really tasty. The atmosphere was calm, quiet and warm. Lovely all round.
