The Old Vicarage Wedding and Events Venue

We recency got married at TOV and it was everything we had hoped and more. Laura and the team were great from start to finish and made everything stress free. We booked the venue the night before which was so incredible. The venue is intimate and stylish. The food and drink was, perfect, every detail is carefully curated. Beyond spectacular. The venue is gorgeous - obviously, but there's so much more to the Vicarage experience. We went to a wedding here this weekend and having seen the Vicarage before, I was familiar with the decor and style, but with garden installations, draping, waterfall tablecloths, huge flower displays on pedestals inbetween tables and around the garden, it literally looked like the pages of a magazine. As a guest, I've never experience a team like this - super tight knit, really on the ball and just always there when you need something. They really, really care and every question you might have, or last minute request - from plasters, to dress steamers, to a coffee first thing when you just need caffeine even though the bar isn't open yet, or a cup of tea just before bed - they couldn't have done enough for us. Chelsea and Suzanne (who own the Vicarage) are just gorgeous and make every person who walks through the door feel special. On top of that, the food was the best I've had at any wedding - fondant potatoes, choux buns? Literally, like a fine dining restaurant not simply a wedding venue. We all had the best day - thank you!

Wow, what a special place! From the moment we entered at one of the open days we knew this was the one. The building itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and surroundings, but what makes TOV the incredible wedding venue it is, is the amazing team behind the scenes. They were nothing short of amazing in the lead up to our wedding day, always welcoming, always smiling and nothing was too much for them. We worked mainly with Laura and Chelsea, who were always extremely prompt in responding to emails, had lots of tips on what would and wouldn't work well, and really helped with what can be quite an overwhelming experience. The recommended suppliers (especially Mark) were great also! Our wedding was absolutely perfect, everything ran like clockwork, and our guests were really wowed by the venue, the food and all of the little touches. The bedrooms at TOV are also amazing, not only is the bridal suite incredible, but each and every room has been tastefully decorated, with luxury in mind. The team work tirelessly to continuously update and decorate the venue with timeless touches. Really, we would love to move in?! Words just cannot describe how great it all is. Our wedding here at The Old Vicarage was nothing less than perfect. We specifically communicated with Laura throughout our 2 year planning process and she was always on hand to answer questions if needed. She made us feel at ease during the lead up due to her professionalism through out! We fell in love with the venue due to its simplistic, timeless look which everyone commented on. People were also very quick to let us know their thoughts on how amazing the staff were through out the day! Maia especially showered me with compliments and was there for absolutely anything on the day, which I truly appreciate. We viewed around 12 venues but this one truly blown us away and truly so glad this was the venue we chose to celebrate our special day. Thank you so much for everything!!

I truly don’t know where to start with this review! Do you want a wedding venue that feels like you’re building a meaningful relationship with a detail oriented, kind and helpful group of friends? If so then I couldn’t recommend TOV more. I could go on and on about how beautiful the venue is itself, but if you are considering TOV and have looked at their photos or even visited then you already know this is the case. Right from our very first meeting welcomed with coffee and treats, we felt like they truly cared about our special day. They were always so responsive to emails and my many questions, helped us to find the perfect suppliers, guided us on creating the perfect timeline and gave suggestions on how to make the day as aesthetically gorgeous as possible. We planned a stunning outdoor wedding, and it ended up being a scorcher! The team made sure we had special touches to help with this such as parasols which was amazing, and they truly went above and beyond to keep me cool !!! (Think constant ice cubes on my wrists, fanning me and running me cold baths - plus the bridal suite bedroom aircon!). Even the smell of this place will lock in lasting memories for you - I really can’t capture it properly in words. Our guests said they had the best day ever, the food was absolutely gorgeous, the dance floor was a blast with gorgeous Hugo spritz and the bedrooms are so mindfully decorated. In fact every time I visited the house in the 18 months we planned the wedding for it was constantly evolving which I adored. I just cannot say enough about TOV, Chelsea, Maia, Suzie, Laura… everyone! If you’re a Pinterest romantic Lana del rey couple like us… book TOV!!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Old Vicarage Boutique Wedding and Event Venue from the morning preparations through to the first dance, and I was genuinely impressed by both the venue itself and the experience it provides. The venue has a wonderful boutique feel throughout, combining character, elegance and beautifully maintained surroundings to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From guest arrival through to the evening celebrations, the day flowed effortlessly and felt thoughtfully managed from start to finish. Chelsea and Maia were both fantastic to work alongside. They were professional, attentive and clearly passionate about ensuring everything ran smoothly for the couple and their guests. The wider team were equally welcoming and supportive throughout the day. The food was excellent, with great quality and presentation that was clearly enjoyed by guests. From a photography perspective, the venue offers a fantastic variety of opportunities. The beautiful interiors, gardens and grounds provide a range of elegant backdrops, making it easy to create natural and timeless photographs throughout the day without needing to step far from the celebrations. It’s a beautifully run venue with a real attention to detail, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Old Vicarage to couples looking for an intimate and memorable wedding day. The Old Vicarage Boutique Wedding Venue We could not be happier! Our Wedding was on the 12th September and it went splendidly from start to finish. After visits to various wedding venues we settled on The Old Vicarage - such a prestige venue, it is just like stepping into the White Company oozing chic style and sophistication. Our planning started one year earlier with the help of Laura (our wedding Co-ordinator at The Old Vicarage). The whole team are extremely professional, everything is organised to perfection taking away much of the stress of the organisation, leaving us with the peace of mind that everything would run well on the day. We attended several open days and food tastings prior to our wedding to complete our arrangements and decide upon our menu. The food is prepared by their French Chef whose creations are unbelievable, from canapés to desserts, it was very hard to choose what to go with as every option was so delicious. The bedrooms are impeccably designed, luxurious sanctuaries furnished to an extremely high standard. All of our guests, without exception, commented on the quality of the venue, the atmosphere and the food. We provided the table decorations and other accessories to put our stamp on the look that we wanted to achieve, the team then put everything out just as we had requested and the final look was exceptional. If you are looking for that perfect venue for your wedding, then look no further than The Old Vicarage you certainly will not be disappointed.
