Using my other Google account to leave this review as I've already got a review listed from my wedding. Husband and I booked a room here for 6th-7th June to mark our second anniversary, and the room that was originally allocated to us wasn't in the greatest condition due to ongoing renovations etc. Riz from reception came up to inspect it himself and went out of his way to relocate to us to a better room, and one we were already familiar with from previous visits. From start to finish, customer service was top mark. To top it off, breakfast was spot on too. Thank you Riz and the team. Can't wait to come back 🤩

We traveled all the way from Taiwan. We arrived late at 8 PM, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room was warm and the bed was comfortable. You can feel the history of this building, but it is kept in good condition. We are very happy with our stay and look forward to seeing the hotel after it is renovated!

Lovely brekkie with Ken cooking. Very helpful and friendly. Mug of refills tea or coffee. Ladies toilet need clean over but hotel is tidy and well signed to restaurant. Excellent value for money £4.99 for small brekkie with drink
