The Laverton

We recently hired The Laverton in Westbury, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience! The hall itself is absolutely beautiful — clean, spacious, and full of character. It’s the perfect setting for any event, with great facilities and an inviting atmosphere that made our daughters 6th birthday truly special. A huge thank you to Sarah, who was incredibly helpful from start to finish. She made the booking process smooth and stress-free, answered every question promptly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out. I would highly recommend The Laverton to anyone looking for a venue in the area Thank you

Beautiful venue, done a few parties here over the years. The venue is upstairs, but they do have a lift if needed. Good size kitchen. There are a few parking spaces in the front or public car park opposite.

The Laverton Institute is a unique and charming building that on one side houses Westbury Town Council offices and the other, offers a number of spaces for private, civic and community use including the Main Hall on the upper floor. The Main hall is accessed via a grand staircase (or disabled access lift) and is a rare beauty! Perfect for any event of up to 100 people (80 seated) possibly a few more 🙂 There is a basic Bar for hire and a good sized professional kitchen space. I have personally hosted three large events at the Laverton and I can assure that a good time was had by all 😀

We had a party at the hall this weekend and the staff at the venue were amazing, they meet all needs from booking the venue, ensuring all was set up and the drinks we required were there, to the bar staff during the party who kept tables clear from glasses and served everyone with a smile. The party was a huge success and stress free due to the help of the lovely people who carry out the day to day running of the hall. I would recommend to anyone to use the hall for your events. Thank you again to all involved in booking and the evening 🙂

Went with my grandson to lunch event held for the community. Food was excellent although not perhaps a child's choice. Plenty for children to do. It was such a shame that it was not more supported by the people of Westbury
