W W Winter Ltd

We did the free heritage tour and the volunteers were wonderful. I enjoyed listening and learning about the history of W.W.Winter and how they have been in the process of preserving it. There is alot of interesting stuff to see there. I took my partner who is into photography but even I found it really interesting.

An important mark of international photographic history as well as local one. Absolutely amazing group of volunteers who put a lot of work and passion towards restoration of the place and its legacy. Thank you for being the part of the FORMAT festival.

Magicians work there !!! I took my late fathers National service photo in to be restored. We didn't think anything could be done with it , nothing was farther from the truth !!! It looked like it was taken yesterday. Brilliant work 👏

Wow!! It was amazing meeting the Lady at this studio. She welcomed us with excellent hospitality! We were actually looking for a copy shop to print out a document. Though this is a photo studio we were surprised she offered to print our copies for free 😀 Very friendly, helpful and certainly highly recommendable. Thank you so much !!! Visitors from London 🙂

Exceptional service from an exceptional Derby company. I have submitted an old photograph before to be digitised and colorised and was very happy with the work. Today I left them with a more modern photograph that had been damaged for them to digitise, correct and print a copy. I was flabbergasted when the lady who served me, contacted me and said they had done the work before I had even left for home! This is exceptional service and deserves the highest recommendation.

Staff rushed me though the photos in only a few minutes and made me feel very uncomfortable. I communicated numerous times how awkward I was feeling and how I was worried that would translate into poor photos but they just dismissed my concerns. Unfortunately when I got the photos back, they were like I expected, very rushed and awkward. Not impressed for such an expensive service. I would definitely advice looking for somewhere else.

Our family has been going to Winters for the last three generations spanning about 40 years and we intend to continue to use their services in the future. We always receive brilliant service and real quality photos, you get what you pay for! Thank you.
