Having used Maria London Events for my Walima and having Habib manage the food and decorations whilst also hosting the event, I cannot fault their service. Habib ensures he finds time for you even when his really busy with other events. He ensures he brings his A-Game on the day having very professional staffs alongside him to help deliver the best day possible. The food was amazing with all guest giving nothing but praises while the decoration looked amazing and how we requested with a further finishing touches to make it more special. They communicated extremely well with all of our other vendors while Habib being in the industry for a long time ensure he was already acquainted beforehand.

I've used Maria London Events 3 times and attended a further 3 managed by them. At all times the Food has been delicious and of great quality, and the service has been Superb, The decor is beautiful. The price is pretty good too. The Manager Habib is a Amazing manager always Positive, friendly, trustworthy and always ensuring the day goes Perfect. Asian/bengali weddings can be stressful but Habib has years of experience in this industry. Be sure to use the media hosting, very helpful in large bengali families when taking photos. Habib managed to get all 500 approx guest to take photos with bride and groom in about 45mins by announcing on microphone. Some of my guest thought this would be impossible. Highly recommended

My walima event took place on 18th August 2021 at Ensign Youth Club. I booked catering and event services with Maria London for 165 people; however, only around 100 guests attended. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Maria London was stressful and disappointing due to poor communication and customer service. One major issue was that we were never informed beforehand that we needed to bring buckets or containers to take the leftover food home. During the event, my family had to repeatedly travel back and forth to our house to collect buckets, causing my siblings to miss important parts of my special day. Despite having a large amount of food left over, we were only given a small portion back. We also did not receive any drink cases or desserts (firni) to take home, which was disappointing. I also paid for music speakers, but the music volume was extremely low throughout the event and could barely be heard. I was very disappointed with this service. In addition, the flowers on the guest tables were removed far too early while the event was still ongoing. Another issue was the event staff and management service that I paid for. When it came time to feed my wife the cake, there was no spoon provided on the table, and none of the waiters assisted immediately. I had to wait several minutes until my cousin found one for me. I also felt the staff lacked professionalism, some staff members did not smile or appear welcoming to guests, and one staff member was wearing an army green T-shirt instead of proper uniform attire. Many guests were not even aware that welcome drinks were available. I was also frustrated that Maria London never clearly informed me in advance that my package did not include cleaning and table setup services. I only found this out at the last minute and had to arrange and pay for it separately with the venue. I visited the Maria London office multiple times, but I still did not receive clear information regarding important details. During meetings, the manager would often answer calls and spend long periods speaking to other clients while I was there, which made me feel undervalued as a customer. That being said, there were some positives. The house lighting setup looked very good, the walima stage was beautiful, and the food quality was enjoyed by the guests. Manager Habib also provided good service by cutting and serving the taal, and I appreciated that he personally checked the lighting setup afterwards. Overall, although there were some good aspects, my experience with Maria London was disappointing and stressful because of the poor communication and lack of professionalism. Considering the issues I experienced, I genuinely believe I deserved some form of refund or compensation.
