Lauren did the hair for my wedding and two bridesmaids. My trial was really helpful and very fun. The day was so magical and I’m really glad Lauren was part of the getting ready morning. Super professional putting all of us at ease. She made us all feel very special and look amazing (alongside the lovely Clare who did our makeup). I couldn’t have had a better morning. I would highly recommend.

I absolutely loved my bridal hair. Lauren created the most beautiful, relaxed updo that felt elegant, effortless and completely me. She was incredibly kind, patient and lovely to spend the morning with. She instantly put me, my mother and friend at ease and made the whole experience so enjoyable. My hair looked natural but stayed perfectly in place all day and night. It didn’t budge once, and we didn’t get home until around 1am! 😆 I couldn’t recommend Lauren more highly. Thank you for making me feel so beautiful on such a special day.

I had a fantastic experience with Lauren for my wedding hair. I was so pleased with my hair on the day and she made it look really thick. I had the top section of my hair pinned up and none of it came out or deflated. She understood my hair texture and was realistic about what we could achieve. Having fine hair, she gave me prep advice that I was able to practice between my trial and the wedding day. She was also happy to adapt to last minute preference changes! My bridesmaids went with hairstyles that Lauren suggested and they absolutely loved them. It was a hot day so there was mainly up-dos and not one bit budged! My mum was delighted with a hair slide that Lauren kindly gave her as a an accessory for her curly blow dry. Lauren was calm and relaxed for the whole morning of preparation, chatting whenever we wanted to chat but also not afraid to let a silence last, which I really appreciated on a very busy morning! I’m so grateful for such a positive wedding day experience!

I would recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a wedding hairdresser. I am not a 'girly' girl, so I was nervous about this element of wedding planning, but Lauren made the whole process feel easy and dare I say it… enjoyable! I had a trial with Lauren in York before my wedding, where she put me at ease immediately. She thought of everything, and I found her insight so helpful. She was very generous with her time and expertise. On the wedding day itself, Lauren styled four people’s hair. She worked brilliantly with my makeup artist to keep everything on track, going above and beyond to help solve problems and tell me what needed to happen next! Throughout the morning, she was calm, chatty and friendly. It was easy to sit back, relax, and trust that Lauren would just do an amazing job. My hair was everything I had hoped for and more – it stayed put for hours, even surviving a dress change and a long stint on the dancefloor. Lauren is an amazing wedding hairdresser. She created a range of beautiful hairstyles for each member of the bridal party, taking care to tailor each look to individual preferences. We had a hair trial a few weeks before the wedding, which was really helpful, and Lauren was very open to ideas and adjustments to make sure everything worked perfectly. Lauren was extremely reasonable in terms of cost and very generous with her time, both at the trial and on the wedding day. She was also a joy to be around — easy-going, funny, and kind. A true wedding expert, Lauren stayed calm under pressure and went above and beyond to help with a number of things beyond hair, ensuring the day ran smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
