Best prawn puri in town!! Beautifully spiced however the puri was too oily. Still ate it all. The Daal was perfect, full of ghee and thick consistency. Starters were banging, biryani was tasty and the donner was good too. Will definitely be back. Well worth the money and lots to choose from

The food here was soo good genuinely took me back to childhood haven’t had food this good in a while and Evan rare to find this quality food anywhere. My mum is a hard person to impress and Evan she absolutely loved it. Honestly there isn’t 1 bad thing I can say about this place

I visited recently with a group of friends, and we were blown away. Mishtidesh is a bit of a mixed bag, but mostly in a good way. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes are generous. Highly recommend for authentic South Asian flavours!

Excellent food and warm, attentive customer service. The traditional Bangladeshi dishes are authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. One unique touch that really stood out was the fandaan, which adds to the cultural experience and makes the restaurant feel even more traditional. If you’re looking for genuine Bangladeshi cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely worth a visit.

Date of Visit 20-07-2026 Time 7pm Private room So we visited Mishtidesh for a Birthday day. This is a breakdown of our experience There is no private parking so you will need to park on the road, we managed to find parking close by. The restaurant is very well decorated and clean on first impression. We booked the private room upstairs and was pleasantly surprised by the size as it doesn’t look as big from outside. Again very nice decor and clean, with air conditioning which kept the room cool. There is easy accessible toilet, sink area outside which makes it convenient if you need to wash hands without having to go to the toilet. Plenty of room to put the stage and kids to run about. You could fit 30 people comfortably maybe 40 at a squeeze Private room 5/5 The staff were very quick and efficient any thing needed was dealt with very fast 5/5 The food I here you ask We had a assortment of starters per plate so there was chicken tikka which was nicely spiced slight kick, chicken sheekh kebab, vegetable Somosa and fish Pokora, I think maybe they should’ve done vegetable Singarah not sure if Somosa was frozen but nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed served with sautéed onions and salad and mint/chilli sauce Starters 4/5 Main curries were really nice, meat curry was cooked fresh and proper home style , Daal was excellent also, nice bright yellow and vegetable curry was also flavourful, the chicken jalfrezi was ok, this was served with boiled rice and pilau The meat curry and daal was superb 5/5 Dessert Ice cream and Gulab jamon The gulab jamon was a disappointment a lot harder in texture just wasn’t the best, but ice cream was fine I’m savoury guy anyway Dessert 3/5 Overall I give 4/5 Maybe if I was doing the party as it was my niece bday I would change the dessert and maybe they do singhara, not sure Would definitely book again as service and food was very good and we all had a wonderful time.
