Bread Street Kitchen & Bar - Liverpool

Absolutely wonderful experience here. I took my daughter for a birthday meal here for her 7th birthday and the staff were wonderful, there was a problem with my online booking but they still seated us. We had a wonderful meal, they brought her out a special birthday plate which was a lovely touch. Even took pictures of us so I had something to remember the evening. Food was amazing aswell. I would definitely return.

1st and most definitely the last time we will visit a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. I fancied the marinated chicken but that apparently takes at least 25 minutes so we both opted for the beef sandwich, if you zoom in on the menu you can see it’s called ‘Idiot’ Sandwich and tbh anyone ordering one will feel like an idiot for doing so! For £25 you get a pot of fries and what I’d describe as a greasy and extremely poor attempt at toasted sandwich with pulled beef. No garnish at all. We couldn’t believe what the restaurant was serving. The member of staff serving us did his best and, following my feedback informed the manager and refunded the cost of one of the sandwiches, in fairness there was no hesitation. Unfortunately the sad story doesn’t end here! We were charged £14.50 each for an Aperol and Sarti Spritz. I asked them to come outside and look at their prominently displayed A board stating £8/ Spritz. We were told this was only for those sitting outside and not on a Saturday!!! Well sorry Gordon Ramsey but you can’t advertise one thing and then explain the All day everyday doesn’t apply. We did get the difference back on one of the drinks and I asked the very polite member of staff to escalate the error to the management, she said they already know and haven’t done anything about it. WOW, just WOW - Avoid.

Went here with my boyfriend and the host was brilliant but other than that it just wasn’t great. I got given the wrong meal and our £70 bottle of wine never got poured into our glasses again after the first glass. The host did comp my meal for it being wrong. My boyfriend’s steak was good. Everyone else got told about a deal they had on for a glass of fizz and a 3 courses for a certain amount of money but we didn’t get told about this. The atmosphere is alright it is just basic. Overall probably won’t go back again to be honest but was an experience I guess.

Seating was quick and the service was very good. Fish n chips were quite nice. Macaroni and cheese was bland. The ceasar salad had nice garlic crisps and good flavor. Pricing is fair since the dishes and service was of high quality.

It was my birthday and I'm glad that we booked a table for beef wellington experience course. Foods are amazing I love the welcome cocktails. Beef wellington is absolutely delicious, amazing cooking. Staffs are great and friendly.
