Fig And The Wild

We attended Ffrens X fig and the wild’s first supper club, a gorgeous summer celebration tomato party! The venue is gorgeous and we had a special tomato themed table setting by Mary Mary florals 🍅🌹 Everyone was really friendly and attentive which made the atmosphere relaxed for a supper club. The food was honestly amazing 4 courses celebrating everything tomato including a cocktail. The ricotta and focaccia was a favourite! Will definitely be booking another supper club but I will be visiting Ffrens in the meantime to try the rest of the menus!

We are so pleased that we chose Alison and Alix to cater our wedding. The food was so impressive, the portions were big and we had so many compliments from our guests (and they are hard to please when it comes to food!). Alison and Alix are so experienced and professional and were able to sort everything without involving us so that we could sit back and enjoy our day. Thank you!

Alison, Alix and the Fig team are not only incredibly talented caterers, and I mean INCREDIBLY, but also beautiful human beings. We are so grateful that they were our wedding caterers and cannot imagine having worked with anyone else (or eaten anyone else's food!). Everything they make is delicious (truly, everything we tasted) but they also listened and worked with us so generously and warmly to make our wedding feast as delicious and unique as it could be. Even the tasting was so special and exciting, trying their amazing canapes (deep fried olives forever). When I asked Alison for 'good tomatoes', Alison knew exactly what I meant. Instead of leading me towards a certain dessert when we couldn't quite figure it out, she came up with an entirely new one - a berry, rose and cardamom pavlova that looked like something Marie Antoinette would serve (it was so dreamy). On the day, everything was better than we could have imagined it, and they all made sure that everything ran super smoothly. The staff were all brilliant and were just a joy to be around. Everyone was raving about the food and loved the sharing plates - it made it so convivial and joyful. We truly could not recommend Fig and the Wild more - they are the BEST! <3

My daughter is getting married in November. So she got Fig in the wild to do the wedding dinner. Turkish banquet for 84 people. But the venue went into Liquidation. And they had to find a new venue which is a hotel. So we didn't need fig in the wild. So fig in the wild refused to reimburse the money we gave them. Every one else returned money to us because it wasn't our fault. But we had wedding insurance so got all money paid out back. So just a heads up anyone getting married please make sure you get insurance because some firms won't pay you back. 👍

I recently went to a Fig and the Wild supper club in North Wales and it was incredible. The food was absolutely amazing. The location of course was stunning, but Fig and the Wild really brought the magic. What an incredible idea and set up, sat amongst strangers having an incredible feast in a beautiful natural setting. It felt like a little community! The whole evening was stunning and I can't wait to go to another one - wherever it is next. The Fig and the Wild team are a wonderful fun bunch and I really couldn't recommend them enough. Their events, their catering service - they're just spot on.

Alison, Alix and the whole fig and the wild team are incredible! WOW where do we start?! Thank you SO much for the best meal of our lives for our wedding on Friday!! We’ve had so many messages to say it's the best wedding food our guests have ever had - the beef shin lasagne will go down in history! Lots of shout outs for the burrata, heritage tomato salad, the tiramisu ice cream and the sausage rolls too! You really are the best in the business and we couldn’t recommend you more! Alison and Alix were a joy to deal with: relaxed, intuitive and positive. They provided a party grazing table that was almost too beautiful to eat - but tasted so good it was quickly demolished. Portions were generous and they were unfazed by our mix of dietary requirements, turning up bang on time and working swiftly and unobtrusively among the chaos of a party set up. I'd book them again in a heartbeat and can't wait to get a ticket for one of their supper clubs.
