Philly & Carmen were fantastic in taking our raw ideas for a 50th party and turn them into an amazing night of fun. They had a flexible approach, letting us use our suppliers where we had them, but also having some excellent recommendations where needed. It was also brilliant to have Carmen at the party all night, so that we could enjoy the evening rather than spend time dealing with the inevitable things that arise when you hold a big event. I cannot recommend Sugar and Rind enough. They recently planned my 50th birthday party and the entire experience was absolutely flawless from start to finish. From our very first consultation, Philippa truly listened to my vision and brought it to life with incredible attention to detail. They took all the stress out of planning, effortlessly coordinating everything from the fantastic live DJ to the amazing catering. On the evening of the event, their team was incredibly professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly so I could relax and celebrate with my guests. I recently used Philippa and her team to plan my 50th birthday party at home following a recommendation from a friend. From the outset, Philippa was on board with my chosen theme and was full of ideas on how to create the perfect party. The evening itself was even better than I could have hoped for; the catering and bar staff were all complete professionals and Jo, the event manager, seamlessly oversaw the evening, leaving my husband and me fully able to relax and party. The icing on the cake was the amazing DJ who had been briefed perfectly by Philippa and had the dance floor completely packed from the beginning to the end of his set. Almost one month later, my friends are still talking about the evening. I definitely could not have asked for a better celebration for my "big birthday". Thank you Sugar and Rind.

Sugar & Rind planned our wedding reception and they did an INCREDIBLE job! Philly and Carmen are professional, patient and able to bring what was a fairly abstract vision to life. They asked us for a brief (which was basically the colour scheme and good vibes), they then went to their catalog of vendors to bring us options that we could choose from. If it wasn’t quite right then we’d go back and bring us further options. When we struggled with figuring out what to do with entertainment, we trusted their expertise and ended up with the most incredible band that really brought the whole event to another level. On the day, we literally didn’t worry about a thing! We were able to fully enjoy the day with our guests and we just had the best time. We’ve had so many compliments on what a fantastic event it was, and honestly we couldn’t have done it without you! Who knew wedding planning was so easy?! Thank you so much, we couldn’t recommend you more. 10/10. No notes.

Philly and the team at Sugar & Rind organised an absolutely fantastic 18th birthday party for our son, on very short notice. It was very thoughtfully done, bespoke, everyone had a terrific time and every supplier did a great job. I would highly recommend Sugar & Rind to everyone organising a significant party.

Phillipa and Carmen from Sugar & Rind organised our office christmas party at an external venue and it was AMAZING!!!
