Rich catered for my friends’ wedding and I cannot express both how delicious the food was, but also just how lovely a guy Rich was. The succotash salad was delicious and he took the time to tell me in detail the recipe and where I could buy ingredients. His passion for Southern food came through in the eating, and the fact that he was just so warm and friendly made everything taste that bit better. Cannot recommend enough!

We had The Southern Kitchen come in to cater for a Thanksgiving lunch for 35 of our employees, and honestly, they smashed it. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. Rich was absolutely brilliant to work with, super organised, on top of all the logistics, and really thoughtful about menu choices, allergies, and all the little details that make life easier. On the day, Daisy handled everything on her own and she was lovely, polite, friendly, and totally unflappable. And the food… wow. The smoked turkey was unreal! Everything was full of flavour and went down a treat with the whole team. Fab experience all round. Would 100% recommend and happily book again!

Rich catered for my party of 80 people and was fantastic from start to finish, recommending dishes and just super helpful with the whole process. Pulled pork was absolutely delicious and Rich should win awards for the pitt smoked beef and the potato salad. Everyone commented on how awesome the food was - and it was great to have something a little different to your usual standard party food. 10/10 delicious awesome food!

I used the Southern Kitchen for our Cowboy Christmas Party (2025) and they did not disappoint. Even our resident American gave it two thumbs up. Delicious food and Richard was super helpful to organise with - even sending over an allergens list for me. 10/10 would use again!

Being from Texas, I'm picky about my BBQ, but The Southern Kitchen blew me away. They have an authentic grasp of Southern US food that is hard to find in London. I ordered a variety of dishes, including the beef brisket, smoked BBQ chicken, summer succotash, potato salad, and mac & cheese. If you try nothing else, you have to get the brisket. The mac & cheese and potato salad are also must-haves—they're the kind of sides that complete a perfect Southern meal. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Rich for his catering service. I hosted a BBQ for 18 people and was a little worried about the logistics, but Rich put me at ease from the very first call. The entire process was seamless and foolproof, and the communication was excellent. He handled everything from beginning to end, which meant I could focus on my guests and not on the food. He's an absolute pro who provides fair pricing, great suggestions, and a truly reassuring and professional service.
